I have a friend who is a die hard USCe fan. Really solid dude with tons of football knowledge. He's been telling me that he truly believes Muschamp has learned his lesson from the UF gig and the Auburn DC gig. I told him that as soon as you guys lose your first game you'll see he hasn't learned a thing.

Exhibit A: First loss = No offense, blame the players, say "We'll get better."

Lotsa familiar posts over there. Just give him time. The last coach left us bare. He just needs to get his players. I like being unranked, bc we can sneak up on people.

I think some of our people have aliases!

They seem convinced they can win 6 games. I don't see it.

The offense is right on track to look just like a Will Muschamp coached team...pathetic!:

http://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/so...ll-muschamp-strong-words-team-saturdays-loss/

South Carolina ran for only 34 yards on 31 carries. This equates to an anemic 1.1 yards-per-carry average. As for the defensive line, it was consistently pushed off the line of scrimmage. Mississippi State ran for 290 yards on 45 carries — a whopping 6.4 yards-per-attempt.

It still boggles my mind that they would hire the coach that they got mercifully sh**canned from here after they beat him. If there were a football equivalent of a Darwin Award, USCe would deserve one.

Best man at my wedding is a lifelong Gamecock and Gamecock Club member/season tix holder (hooks me up every other year when UF is there, I went every year to a game when SOS was there). He hated/hates the hire, and doesn't like Tanner as their AD either. Thinks Tanner needs to step down and go back to the dugout. The majority of their fanbase is delusional though, think they will actually go to a bowl this season. Meh.

It is amazing that is always the players and not the coaching.... amazing but comical. Even more amazing is he thinks he can have offense with Roper as his OC. Roper;s offense at UF was 112... Roper must have had no other options except Moose Dump to take this job.

Not to defend Roper that much, because we really don't know who he is as an OC. But by the time he got here, there was so much misfit and miss managed talent you could have had the best OC in the nation with Champ as coach and still only managed to get in the 80's. Roper was bad, but he was also in a $hitty situation. Which a year under Roper/Mushcamp was made worse for the incoming staff.

I'm not. Not even close.

And yet you love Meyer who faked a heart attack to ditch us and go to tOSU, just because he won a few meaningless NCs. Really? How many criminals did Mr. Muschamp bring into the program? And Meyer quit on us while WM was willing to give it all he had for as long as it took. He owned it, it was 'on him' as opposed to running away.

Typical muschamp. We'd get beat by 35 points, not because they scored 60, but because we scored 3. And at the post game presser he'd b*tch about how the defense didn't stop anyone, never mentioning a lick about the how freaking horrific the offense was.

It's like he actually believes that if you score a single point in a game, that should be enough to win.
