Jeffrey Holland is a big time linebacker. We need Linebackers something fierce in this class and he's a huge priority. I think we land them both if the season turns out well.

Yes and Yes .What J said is 100%. The kid is 6'2 listed at 230 lbs. looks a little bigger. plays OLB, also can play wr or te. Runs a 4.5 or better.Listed as a 4 star #5 olb and #11 over in FLA. Kid can cover sideline to sideline, rush the passer and cover rb's te's and some wr's. He's been here the last 3 weeks on unofficials really likes the Gators and loves WM and Durkin. the one thing I would disagree with you a bit J is that I think that if they see improvement and the team trending upwards they're ours. Jefferson and Holland grew up Gators, Cece's parents are both alums, his dad has a Gator tattoo and a sign over the front door that says Proud Gator. The man also says he wouldn't allow his son in the house if he went to the criminoles or leghumpers LOL. Another plus is that Holland wants to play with Norton the Dl who he comes with all the time.Think the kid is a dt , he's basically considered a Gator lock now and Holland has said a number of times he wants to play with him. This class with Holland , Thomas and Baker would be one of the best Lb classes in the country, were also in it for Coney and Roquan Thomas , any combination of the 4 OR if we could get all 5 we'd have in a year or two one of id not the best Lb corps in the country. All 5 can run and run fast they're aggressive and smart .

I think Coney chooses us over ND as well. Although Norton will probably come here I'm not blown away by him.

No you're right about Norton, but he will be a good enough second option down the line. Think you're right also about Coney. Also read today that Roquan is kind of backing away from us, to crowded for him. That is also Coney's main hang up so it would clear the way.

Serious question, what happens with these guys if Muschamp gets run out?

Honestly . We don't know. IMO ? We lose a bunch , contrary to what Law and his ilk say these kids really want to play for WM & CO. The Oline guys are all looking forward to working with Summer, and the D guys all want to play for WM. After just 2 games we've seen a upswing in excitement with recruits. A lot of these guys are not committed yet because they want to make sure he and the staff will be there. They all talk about the improvement over last year and unlike a lot of fans understand what they're doing.

That's what I'm saying T. He'll make a serviceable to good backup, and who knows he could be better than J or I think. I mean look at little Ivie, Law etc were laughing about a 3 star and the kids a friggin beast this year.

I think that pretty much answers it. Kinda wanted to get a feel if these guys might want to be Gators to be a Gator, or be Gators because of the coaching staff.
For the sake of getting these guys, I hope we really are improved. I've seen a difference in the play calling, but the players still have to make the plays. I'm not the biggest fan of Driskel's, however he's the best chance we have RIGHT NOW. He has the physical capabilities, it's his mind set that I question.

it's kinda both on some. But the players and their families all love WM and staff. Whenever a coach goes you have trouble keeping a class together, unless you make a big name hire. And contrary to most on the main board there aren't to many out there. The coaches also know what WM stepped into and what he's had to fix and might be a little leery about leaving a well paid job to step into a meatgrinder with quite honestly an impatient and spoiled fan base that even SOS has made comments about.
