The Florida Gators will head to Tuscaloosa on Saturday to play the Alabama Crimson Tide so the Gators will not have the opportunity to host any prospects this week.

Florida will however get the chance to put on a show for some prospects attending the Alabama game as well as prospects watching the game on TV.

Some of Florida’s top targets, however, will be on other campuses watching other teams play so this week instead of a Florida Gators visitor list we are going to list the prospects are visiting elsewhere.

Watching the Tide and Gators square off...

I saw on recruiting nation today that fsu was gaining ground on cowart. I hope this isn't true. A win against bama I think would pull this class together. It's a huge opportunity for the program.

Don't be to sure about that T. He recently tweeted a picture of himself giving a weird look and captioned this is the look you give noles when they talk about a dynasty. The noles are doing a lot of talking , he's not. He also is very serious about school and what he wants to major in ( I forget what it is) fsu doesn't even offer. Some people he's going because Davis is going this weekend.

I knew you'd have an answer. They didn't seem to informed. They was just now showed the picture of cece holding the chuckie doll. Where do you think these guys go if muschamp isn't retained?

No telling, depends on who they hire. Davis is Fowlers cousin so I wouldn't doubt he comes here. See the thing is T that for all the B******G on the boards about Muschamp, the kids and players really do believe in him and the staff. They also see the improvements that a segment of our fan base refuses to see. The parents love WM AND the education. The OL are exited to play foe Summer, the DL Lawing etc. Some will come, but players like McCloud, Cain, Williams, Cronkite, Irvin, quite possible most of the Lbs go elsewhere.J, who knows a lot about recruiting thinks that some committed elsewhere so they'd have a spot if WM goes. Unless we get a huge name, and contrary to what a lot believe, they're getting bank where they're at and would cost a fortune to get here. Personally I think WM will be good here, he's made mistakes god knows but he learns and moves forward. Look at the O so far T , we look better than we have since Tebow was here, and we're young. Quite frankly if given time I get the feeling that WM is building one helluva team here. Contrary to Fever's bs WM is respected around football, unfortunately he had to start with 50 odd players and clean up the program. it taook time and these days everyone wants a quick fix and that doesn't happen very often. If WM is fired Ivey I think goes to Aub. Mack stays at A+M Bello goes FSU Williams stays at the U etc.

Urban left a hell of a mess. No one likes hearing it, but it's true. Couple that with all the injuries last year, and we are now in only our 2nd season where we are able to truly practice during the season. We just didn't have the bodies to really practice. Let that sink in and think about it. So when people talk about player development, they haven't had a lot of opportunity.

Also, I hate to agree with Law, but Driskel is a problem. The light has yet to go on and he's playing scared. I hope he changes, but I really wish we had Murphy right now. While Murphy doesn't have the NFL arm or body, he was poised and had some nice intangibles. We can't very well throw a true freshman into SEC play with the hot seat Muschamp has, but next year should be a battle for the QB position, whether Driskel stays or not.

I think we'll see the team continue to develop and gel this year. If we lose because of Driskel and everyone else plays well, Muschamp will likely stay. In the Ky game it was obvious that Driskel was given good opportunities and he ruined them. Tebow said this much nicer this morning on the SEC Network.

I agree with Sonoma on the recruits. We are poised for a great class in Muschamp stays. If our record is below expectations and he stays, some players may go elsewhere, but most that we are talking about will still come here. In addition to great QB talent to develop behind Driskel, Muschamp and company have built some quality depth across the board. The Oline is young, but should start really coming on next year.

Agree with most all you said. I went back after one of Ox's brilliant rants about how any coach could get this program back in 1 year. In WM's first year counting recruits we had 64 players when he took over. 3 players (Redman, Park and Jordan) had already put in for med exceptions which they got. Then we had 2 recruits leave, Mcrae and Blakely, then we had Jenkins and the kid who went to Colorado and got busted for burglary get kicked off for pot, then an Olineman for theft, then Mckitchen left and Dunkey left because he couldn't cut it in class ( 5 academic susp in 1 year) .So we were at 54 ,during the season or right after we lost 4 more , which put it at 50 scholly players. We basically played the first year with about 40-42 players so in fact 7-6 was pretty good in the SEC. You cant recruit fast enough to build quality numbers and like Alky said you cant practice. I know that the majority of people on this board and others don't have the patience but facts and numbers don't lie. I disagree with Law on Driskel in the fact that I think he's been battered so much since he's been here that he's playing tight..Next year he'll have a heck of a battle on his hands IMO at Qb unless he loosens up and focuses. The fact is that we are on the right track but do people have the patience? I don't think that at 2-1 after losing to one of the best teams in the country that the seasons lost, nor do most of the recruits, if we tank we lose most but I don't think we do.

Recruiting is irrelevant right now muschamp won't be around much longer and rightfully so. It's time to worry about our program and cut our losses

There are scores, maybe hundreds, of coaches that could have done a far superior job than Muschamp has during this tenure. I'm not sure why you are so loyal to the guy. It certainly can't be because of results on the field.
