They have a great coach, he'll have them ready to play. If we don't have a competent QB by then, they'll blow us out again. Only this time the whole country will be watching.

Just looking at the rosters and what each team is losing we should have a slight upperhand on Michigan most everywhere but at Defensive line and QB unless we are lucky there but the Michigan QB is no game changer that is for sure. You would have to definitely give the coaching edge to Michigan like you say but I think it helps us a lot getting this game right out of the gate. They won't have any decent tape on our QB and they are going to have a bunch of new starters.

Win or lose, it definitely seems as a benefit to us playing this game this early in the season. I think a competitive loss will be forgiven, but if we lay an egg, there will be much noise in the system.

I'd say 6-6 is the high end.

It's OK, we will score two TDs in November and the Pumpers will claim we are turning the corner.

Yep, if Mac's 2017 Gators go 6-6 as Swonky says, Mac should be retired as HC. But if Mac wins 10 games,
where will Swonky retire to ?

It's a pretty neat area to spend a few extra days if you have the time.
With being afraid to fly my two adult sons and I tentatively made plans to drive with a few stops to golf on the Trent Jones golf trail.
But since I decided to man up I'm sure we'll spend more time in the area with a possible trip to Austin. Looking forward to it but a good plan should make it one of my favorite trips ever.
