I feel like I'll be totally done with Mac if we lose 4 games and the offense still stinks. If we finally show something this year on offense, then I'll be ok with 4 losses max. I do still feel Mac like the administration will let Mac have another year with a 6-6 record or better.

Even SOS lost 4 games a couple of times, so I think a 4 loss season is understandable once or twice a decade.

I consider myself on the fence with Mac and I think this season will tell us everything we need to know about him. I think Mac has done some really good things in his short time but he has also done somethings that i have concerns with. Like the hiring of assistants in beginning, the lack of blue chippers in defensive recruiting and the rotating of running backs when it was clear Scarlett was the best. I recognize that he got dealt a bad hand in the beginning with the O-line, no play makers on O and Grier getting suspended but this is his team completely now so there can be no excuses. I can deal with 3 losses in the regular season as long as we have a competent offense. I don't want to hear about a red shirt freshman QB being an excuse. Jimbo has had 2 good seasons with playing a red shirt freshman at QB. Mac claims to be able to win with anyone at QB well its time to prove it. Also he has to beat FSU this year, that game is a must win in my opinion. He can't afford to go 0-3 versus them and this program can't afford to lose 5 straight to them.

Wins and losses are nearly irrelevant at this point IMHO. See 2012. Watching paint dry was more fun then and still is now. I want to see a a sense of fun. An attitude on offense, step on your throat mentality. That's all that matters to me. If those things are there, the rest will follow.

Honestly, I have trouble imagining that there aren't more people who will be satisfied with 6-6 or 7-5. There have been a LOT of people elated with 4 loss years.

I can't imagine anyone being OK with an 8-4 regular season it just goes against being better than average...I can see 9-3 or 10-2 if the offense moves the ball well but that about it. Anything less will really handicap recruiting....again.

I'm hoping he gets caught with a coed on his motorcycle this summer and gets fired before the season. Hire chip Kelly midseason and he gets granted the urban meyer rule,starts recruiting and building his staff before next season's over. That's best case scenario.
