...Other than Greg Reid in that famous youtube of the '09 fsu game, I don't see anyone actually "missing" him.

Greg Reid didn't "miss" him either...

Reid dodged a moving truck to save his own skin...the puzzy...

Ahhhh.... Who am I kidding... Can't really blame him... Hernandez probably had a murderous look in his eye, the kind that Reid knew would get him shot in the face.

Under these circumstances, I highly doubt that Hernandez committed suicide. He just beat the double murder, and had a high priced defense team that was in the process of appealing his first conviction (something that he had the money to challenge for years). People are found "hanged" in prison all the time, and not necessarily at their own hands.

Gonna be interesting to see how the door was "barricaded" by anyone other than AH.

I'm wondering if there are cameras in those solitary cells. That might clear up the speculation.

The beast that wants to consume you and then SPIT you out into the eternal fires of HELL! Where for all eternity your flesh will be RIPPED from your body by grotesque serpents with razor sharp teeth! Where for all eternity your blood will boil, your bones will burn and your marrow will be reduced to a putrid, black slime! And for what? For a few moments of weakness...that led you to admire the shape of somebody's buttocks! Are there any questions? Very well. Have a good evening, enjoy the dance and I'll see you all next week.

I do realize some of you would prefer to see the body clubbed and stoned enroute to the coroner's office, but I can't help but wonder what Meyer will have to say. He took this kid under his wing and understood to some degree the demons beneath the surface.

"Absolutely no chance he took his own life. Chico was not a saint, but my family and I loved him and he would never take his own life."

:headslap:

Tweet from his former agent Brian Murphy... So he's capable of killing other people, but not himself?.... "Not a saint"... understatement of the year. I hate everything about this tweet. What a rube.

I hear you. But, guards know how to "suicide" people behind bars (hate to say it). Unless we see some footage of the cell block from last night showing that nobody ever went by his cell, I won't buy that story.

I feel no sympathy for him as he was a convicted murderer (possibly serial killer), but I don't feel any kind of relief or happiness about this either. Just wish he would have chosen a different path. The guy had all the talent in the world. What a waste.

Just wondering what the braintrust's reaction to this news would be.

Can't say I'm surprised, but I truly never saw this coming. What a waste of a life full of promise...............

Maybe, maybe not.

Am I the only one that thinks his daughter will be better off NOT knowing her father?

Sorry if I seem cold, I just can't seem to muster any sympathy in this situation for anyone other than the people (plural) he has killed and their families. AH deserves none and I will make no excuses for him because they are just that, excuses

Come on man...seriously. I worked in prison for years and I know you haven't. I doubt you've even seen the inside of a prison. There is no reason to incriminate a whole field of good people because you're getting sentimental over a murderer.

Agreed.

Many in this country have spent the last 3-4 years indicting the entire law enforcement system (Don't deny it, you know who you are) so why wouldn't they assume the same thing about the prison system?
It is always easier to blame a group than to accept the responsibility of an individual.
