Thank goodness for scouts. I would probably never go there in my own. I live in North Tampa. Busch Gardens is 15 mins from me.

It will be. It was there 3 years ago when Sas and I went.

Legoland is a fun park. Since Winter Haven is my home town, I'm happy to see they were able to do something with the old Cypress Gardens land instead of turning into a strip mall or some other BS.

Took my son for the first time this weekend to meet up with family. He is only four so he enjoyed it all even though we were at the water park for most of the day. He's not really into Lego but still enjoyed it. Hardly any wait for the rides. It's definitely out there though and took forever to get to. For younger kids it's worth it and we just got the pass since it's the same price as a 1 day ticket. Don't think he'll enjoy it in a few years though. They were smart with how many places they put air conditioner buildings with activities though to escape the heat.

Been there twice with my kids who are 4 and 8. They both love legos. Definitely a park for 12 and under though like previously stated. We stayed in winter haven, couldn't get into the legoland hotel and don't know if I could have afforded it anyways. If you have little ones, it's definitely caterers to them. The water park was a nice break from the heat.
