Its a waste of time to go to support the crap product on the field. That is the reason I haven't been to the Swamp since Tebow was QB. But I do go to a couple of basketball games every year cause its fun and exciting and we have a new arena now too.

Yes, I care. I'm totally F&@#ing Pissed,but, I still care.

This was a wasted opportunity to put a dagger in the heart of a hated rival, and to continue punishing them for their AD's hurricane stunt. Instead, we've let them off the hook with our lack of intensity and poor coaching. I care, and I ain't happy.

I know we've got injuries, and suspensions. But, that excuse isn't cutting it for me.

The rest of the season will be a struggle to achieve bowl-eligibility.

As a Gator you should care, perhaps not so much about football, but rather the great over all school that UF is. Not just in say football.

I love it how the Dumper rag on the Pumpers like they are happy that we lost. Fairweather fans at best...

Give a damn is so low that we are not even in full meltdown. More like yep, we suck. He sucks...Shrug shoulders.

This is exactly how I feel. When my friends, who are fans of other schools, text or offer their condolences after a loss, I just respond with "Thanks, but we really sux. UF's a bad football team."

I used to get emotional during games because we actually were worthy of my emotion. This decade has completely made me one of those fans that just watches the game, doesn't say much, expects mediocrity and isn't upset when I get it. If the cable goes out in the middle of the game I don't even care.

I miss those days of believing the :chomp: would win every game, and it really bothered me when they'd lose.

This one stings because I know that lswho is a worse team than we are, and there's no way we shoulda lost that one, even if we spotted them 14.

I hear the argument that the coaches are call'n decent plays and the WR's aren't get'n open, or Franks isn't get'n them the ball :rabbi:, but doesn't that still fall on the coaches shoulders because they recruited the players, and they're the ones supposed to teach them, and develop them into winners that actually care how they play, how they rep the University, who they lose to?

Spurrier was fond of saying, "gotta coach'em up." Not sure Mac is capable of coaching them up. We have seen little indication of an upward trend in performance or coaching decisions. And it is hard to ask a player to learn from his mistakes when it is obvious that the head coach does not learn from his.
I saw this in a comment somewhere so I had to look it up.
2015 10-4 (7-1 sec)
2016 9-4 (6-2 sec)
2017 3-2 (3-1 sec)

If we lose to ONLY Atm and UGa that is a downward trend in Sec play. I think Mac has a handful of losses in his future which points to an overall downward trend.

That's not ok

I've got 3 young kids. It takes me making an effort to watch the games. Getting a sitter or getting my wife to agree to watch 3 kids or at least manage them at home. It isn't worth it for this poor of a product. I DVR'd the LSU game planning to watch it later... guess what... didn't watch. Why would I put myself through that. I got bigger things in life to worry about and as much as I will still wear my Gator gear and cheer for the boys in Orange and Blue I won't schedule my day around watching this.

I am in the exact same spot as you only with 2 young kids. My wife could care less about gator football and usually has stuff planned for us for saturdays. It takes major effort for me to watch a game now. Just isnt worth it

Anyone who was a Gator fan in the 80's or earlier knows what we're experiencing. This is the classic "wait til next year" era. It's an era where if we can beat UGA and/or FSU and get to a bowl game everyone is content....and the "wait til next year" mantra gets thrown around. There will be occasional "good" year (which is better than most of the 8-4 year's), such as Muschamp's 11-2 season. But at the end of the day, no one wants 1970's/80's Gator football.

God I hate just qualifying for a bowl game and showing up thinking we lose. Its become the norm.
