lurker taking an opportunity...

After watching a dismal offense for a few years, I was hopeful with Grier at QB. For the first time in a while, I felt we could pick up third downs...whether 3&5 or 3&15.

I'm waiting for that feeling again. CJM, please show us the 8 to 15 yard offense. Who knows, you might even open up the deeper routes by showing this consistently.

That ship has sailed.

There's nothing Mac could do to save his job at this point. He's shown you everything he has to offer... and it ain't much! Mac isn't organized enough, as a coach, to turn this thing around.

But I get your point. It has been a loooong time since I felt comfortable about an offensive drive. Nowadays I just hope we can just punt and let the defense back on the field.

Renard,
I was never on the CJM wagon.
I'm not impressed with his decision making, his demeanor, nor his coaching.
But IF he would simply practice nothing but 3&8 plays the rest of the year--and show these on Saturdays--he might show enough playbook that warrants another year at the helm.
If he doesn't, he should go.

Not that I am happy, but it is almost certain that he will return for another year, and he apparently does not run the offense, so a new coordinator and WR coach could change the offense pretty quickly.
