I'm proud of them too, and a huge Basketball fan. Basketball is an income generating sport and the only one besides football that carries all the others. This is the best looking team we've had since the "oh fours". This could be a special year and we'll get a look at them against great competition next week.

It was cool to win our first CWS, but if I recall the O-Dome remodel had a budget of 50-60 million so we are spending the same on baseball facility for a couple thousand fans a game and no real television revenue.

1. Aren't they tearing down the existing baseball facility to make room for the football facility? So remodeling the existing isn't an option?
2. Again, our athletes deserve the best facilities regardless of whether they are in a revenue sport.
3. I don't think funding is an issue. We can do both.

But they and several other "minor" sports are part of why the SEC network has money for us and others.

Also, Townsend got screwed for an individual award for punter....because the team net punting stats were not good.....so freaking stupid
