Not saying we had a clause allowing Kelly to back out. But if you were to put something like that in, you would be compensated in some way. Options create value. So if it was written in there and Kelly backed out, it may cost him $5mm to do so. Not at all saying it was included, just saying that the option would have a cost and a mighty hefty one.

Audi of Tampa once allowed me to drive home a brand-new 110k Audi for the night to try it out. No strings attached other than my DL. For all they knew, I could have driven the thing to Mexico.

Ive been gone a couple months but this soap opera is un-f*cking-believable. 235 pages of will he/wont he....and in the meantime my biggest concern is f*cking recruiting, the early signing period which Im afraid is gonna get bit in the ass. I keep my cell phone fully charged at all times just waiting for something special to pop up on the ticker!

Did it make you feel special? Because dealerships do that all the time. Not even remotely close to an employment contract.

I suspect you are correct except that there is something we can do to influence the process. We can vigorously explore other options. And I hope we are for our protection.
