Florida/kelly vetted coaches. They kept their mouths shut. UCLA/kelly vets coaches (kelly being a guy who’s incredibly secretive) and they all run their mouths? Hard to believe the massive difference here.
UCLA guys are full of ****. He may sign with UCLA, but their “insiders” posted fake info during the entire search.

Just found it...it's Jonathan Vilma. He said “You know what, he’s probably working on me getting the LB position,” said Vilma jokingly. “I am going to be the linebackers coach with him. UCLA, Florida somewhere. It’s going down. He won’t spill the beans but it’s going down.”

Yea, he did. I can't find the video. At some point during that though he said Chip is going to UF and acted surprised they didn't know. TIFWIW

The video I saw he said he something like "Chip Kelly to Florida and I'll be the linebacker coach. Oh is that not out there yet? My bad. He's already working on my buyout so I can be there about 24 hours then get fired and get my buyout money".

Mainly because of a couple things:
1. We approached first
2. I’ve heard we’ve offered significantly more than UCLA.
3. We are a Nike school and he is already deeply intertwined with Nike. UCLA is an under armor school.
4. They have had a contract from us for several days. I don’t believe they’ve been offered a contract from anybody else yet.
5. Better recruiting base in Florida. And a much smaller area to recruit. Even in California he will have to fly everywhere.
