Well that’s interesting. Can’t say I believe it... Would love to see that materialize. Side note... Memphis is bearing the doors off ECU. What if they totally beat down UCF?? Would that change opinions?
Not really....didn't UCF already beat Memphis this year

Ox, I know your source is not infallible, but is he giving you any info as to where we'r looking next? Any list of priority?

Well
Yes... and I'm not sure sure why everyone seems to take these matchups as reason to choose 1 coach over another...1 head to head meeting should change nothing
Seems obviously logical to do so. It’s the product of both the coaches which you get to see first hand against one another. Does the outcome win/loss serve for immediate circumstantial decision making? No. But you do get to see how their teams perform against one another.

Frost just has a certain quality to him. You can tell losing eats him alive.

Beating ECU is always a primary consideration.

I am not advocating for anyone at this point but only pointing out a couple of things.....a few years ago Charlie Strong was the HOT name in the country, he beat our ass in the Sugar Bowl, using a QB from Florida who went on to be a #1st round draft pick....he turned down Tennessee and took the Texas job which was HUGE mistake, I'm not sure he had a chance in Austin....Norville took over a program two years ago what was already winning and is still winning....Taggart took over 2 dumpster fires and left them in much better shape than he left them and has a top 5 recruiting class right now at Oregon.....Scott Frost took over a dumpster fire and has them winning right away...The question is, is it easier to take over a dumpster fire and turn them around or take over a winning program and keep them winning for a year or two, given the sample size we seem to be enamored with someone who is winning with players left over but not with someone who built something..

And Frost said he would only be meeting with his wife and Baby this weekend. Yeah ... I know ... coach speak ... but I actually believe him.
