Amazon product

I purchased this 1byOne 50 mile amplified indoor OTA antenna, it's only $23.99 and it solved all my previous reception issues. I had a problem getting NBC with the cheapy OTA antenna I had, borrowed a Mohu antenna which was twice the cost of the 1byOne antenna, and it too failed to get NBC. The 1byOne antenna gets it perfectly, and also pics up ION channel, which neither of the others did in the location I have the antenna in.
I'd say this is one of the better ones on the market, especially at a low price, as far as indoor OTA antennas go.
Turn off your adblocker if the link doesn't appear...amazon links can be tricky.

IDK. I have Spectrum (formerly know as Chater Cable) and their cable speed sucks. I'm paying $64.99 for this schit.

get your connection checked, how many devices are you currently running, and is this over wifi? I check my regularly, I usually get between 75-120 Download, and 9-15 Upload

How about an overview update from your experiences?
Never did that.

Just use internet only which is now 100 mbps download.
I have orbi routers and regularly get it at about 117 mbps wirelessly.

still running PS Vue

I didn’t mean overview of spectrum choice. I meant an overview of the total cord cutting experience in detail after all this time, what you’ve used and why and how well it works. Do you still use that OTA Antenna you raved about, etc.?

So cutting the cord was great.
I have zero complaints other than live tv is slightly delayed, so watching football games and being in the chatterbox don't mix well

Now, PS Vue in my area has all the locals live (well 20-30 seconds delayed from cable viewers), So NBC, FOX, CBS ABC and I believe the CW are all available, so 99% of the time I do not need the OTA Antenna.
However, were I to live in a different area, the antenna would have more use. It still work great, I still have it set up like when I first started making the switch. Only difference is I pretty much only use it when there is something on those main channels, like UF playing on CBS. And the one off chance that my internet goes down but still have power (happened once).
Interestingly, it seems like OTA antenna is up to 8 seconds ahead of cable viewers, so I get a jump on the chatterbox those days

PS Vue has been great, even added some channels we liked but left behind, so now we have pretty much everything we liked before cutting the cable.

I will eventually shop the other streaming services, but for now I am very happy with PS Vue.
only other thing I might consider is taking the deal with Spectrum for a year, then going back to cutting the cord when that is up, but for now, I dont see a reason to.

Cutting cable is not as hard or complicated as some people think, but it is best to do some homework. Know what you want when you make the switch and find the right streaming service that fits your wants, i.e. channels.

I would still recommend the antenna for anyone that lives in an area that they cannot stream live locals. It is cheap, great reception, and there may even be better versions on the market now, but the brand 1byOne is solid.

Anybody try Youtube TV? Looks like a pretty good channel lineup, including local networks (in my area at least) and pretty much all the sports nets including SEC network. No hardware required assuming your smart TV has Youtube.

If I were to ever switch streaming TV providers, that would probably be the one.
However currently it doesn't have all the channels that I get from my current PS Vue plan that keeps the wife happy

YouTube TV has come a long way in a short period of time though and still does it at a reasonable price.

These two are the best options, IMO.
