If you can, grab an Angel’s Envy Rye soon. Heard the next batches released will be the first that were barreled after Bacardi bought them. There is no assurance that they will keep finishing in the same rum barrels. May be better or worse, but the original is fantastic so you can’t lose.

You tried this yet? I’ve passed a couple times but thinking about it
Have not. I’ve heard it’s just a bigger bolder Bulliet, which isn’t a bad thing. Basically told not to expect a magical transformation, just a richer experience

Corch was drunk off of half a sip of Makers Mark last night. Where are those pics at?

8BFE35FB-C63C-42F7-80D1-01E3A460D1AC.jpeg I had some Elijah Craig 22yr old last time I was in Ky. 134 proof and almost thick. Really good.

I like the Woodford double oak, but The Russell’s 10yr is tough to beat for sipping. Of course I regularly drink the beam varieties so I have no class :) (but prefer Turkey). Tried the 1792, rather drink beam. Had some Hancock presidential on the Golf course today. Almost too smooth lacking character.

I could never quite accumulate this many bottles. Well, I’ve got a bunch of empties, but not full/partially full...

Most of the ones in boxes are at least half empty, the stuff I try and don’t love tends to stay around a while. Also have a bourbon or tequila tasting at your house, it is amazing what gets left by guests in exchange for wings and charcuterie. Whiskey for the men and beer for the wimps

I’m enjoying my reviews of the bourbons I’ve been getting....I may need to publish my thoughts...
