Kerwin Bell was an all county player[/QUOT I guess who ever starts at Mayo is technically all county since there is only one school in the whole county.
That is a strange interpretation. Daz was TEs and Tackles. Hevesy was Gs and Cs. Daz wasn't the brains of the operation. Or any operation.
Hevesy has made a solid OL everywhere he has been. Our OLs (and especially recruiting for OL) took a "dive" once Daz took over when Hevesy left, though many blame him being stretched too thin between OC and OL.
The weird part was that Daz was definitely the better recruiter, ie more able to bring home a target, and yet Daz' last two classes only had two OL in each class.
Steve Addazio - Head Coach - Boston CollegeI think you have this backwards... Once The Daz came on board he was the OL Coach and Hevesey moved to T & TE's. The OL took a dive when The Daz was promoted to OC along with OL duties... He stopped coaching the OL and focused on being a terrible OC...

Daz disagrees
1999-2001: Notre Dame, Offensive Line (Tackles & Tight Ends)/Special Teams
2002-03: Indiana, Offensive Line
2004: Indiana, Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line
2005-06: Florida, Offensive Line (Tackles & Tight Ends)
2007-08: Florida, Offensive Line
2008: Florida, Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Line
2009: Florida, Assistant Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line
2010: Florida, Associate Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line
Whatever. The lines became retarded by 2009.
The run game became nonexistent especially in the red zone and the recruiting went to hell. Daz last two classes were 2 OL deep and one was stolen from Umass.
2010 and 2011.We had 5 Offensive linemen in our 2009 class.
2010 and 2011.
2011 class, basically except for Jacoby Brissett, was just hanging on to what DazDand Creyer had on the board as much as possible with it being a transition of course. There were never more than two in that class either.
