Such that, like ancient mariner discipline, they should be strapped up & given 20 lashes from a cat-o-nine tails.

If these guys lose practice or playing-time we're off as a mindset team. That would be the evil antithesis of Tebow's famous speech. It stands as anti-iinspirational testimony.

Don't forget that our culture's ability to feel shame is gone. The "awfulness" of feeling shame used to pop into mind during thinking of doing wrong - served as a preventive influence. It's going extinct. Lacking the feeling of shame is an inching towards socio-pathology.
