Or ever. Urban is a football coach Ox loves. Outside of people with an (R) next to their name, there is no more untouchable group on the planet according to Ox.
Keep the political garbage out of this.

Meyer is a football coach I love because he brought my Gators 2 titles and complete domination over our rivals. You're the guy that defended Muschamp and Butters to the bitter end, yet hate Meyer. It's bizarre.

Not so bizarre when you think about it. Once Mac f*cked that shark and was outed as a sexual deviant, he instantly became a hero to Sas...like Caitlyn.

I think it seems obvious at this point that Meyer will survive this, maybe with a suspension of some sorts, but I doubt he loses his job. He's definitely gonna have a ton of questions to answer and it won't be forgotten for awhile. As long as he keeps winning at a high rate there and the more time passes, it will be all but forgotten, just how things work.

Not sure if this item re the contract extension was brought up.

Urban Meyer’s new contract could make it easier to fire him

"Failure by Coach to promptly report to Ohio State’s Deputy Title IX Coordinator — Athletics or Ohio State’s Title IX Coordinator any known violations of Ohio State’s Sexual Misconduct Policy (including, but not limited to, sexual harassment, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, intimate violence and stalking) that involve any student, faculty, or staff or that is in connection with a university sponsored activity or event. For purposes of this section ... a “known violation” shall mean a violation or an allegation of a violation of Title IX that Coach is aware of or has reasonable cause to believe is taking place or may have taken place."

If he gets some type of suspension, there has to an admission of wrong doing...Admission by him or by the administration... My question is what kind of "wrong doing" could have happened that would warrant a suspension but not a firing?

Foley tolerated it all and yet he wouldn't go to bat for SOS against an FSU thug.

That’s my point. He spoke in absolutes, thanks in part to the surprise attack by McMurphy. This isn’t Meyer at his best. He cracked, the story is bad, and now things have been compounded by more recent statements.

I know we all think he’s a liar. But this is as bad as it gets. There are a number of ways he could’ve managed this. He didn’t.

Wonner what gets judged when this Meyer quote gets out : "Hell, even I hit her a coupla' times." ??

Here's out it will play out; the investigation will find that while Meyer reported the 2015 incident to some higher up (thus shifting responsibility), there were still areas where this reporting system could be improved both from the coaching staff and by the administration. As a result, Meyer will be suspended for four games (back in time for PSU, how convenient) and the University will make a number of improvements for reporting and to properly address allegations of abuse to "make sure this never happens again."
