I see the purpose of wearing a t-shirt under a shirt as keeping the underarms of the outer shirt a little dryer. And also, if the outer shirt is white, to prevent the yellowing of the underarms from the combo of sweat and aluminum oxide in antiperspirant.

So I don't understand the purpose of wearing a wife-beater/tank top under a shirt, as opposed to a t-shirt. It doesn't cover the underarms so it doesn't serve those purposes at all. Can anyone enlighten me?

Maybe for the chest hair?

Their new coach and those hideous new uniforms they wore last night have two things in common, and one of them is, they both obviously suck.

Taggart should have used that Rape whistle last night...

Firstly, congratulations on a fine example of empirical logic. Secondly, employed as an attempt to comprehend the actions of a Semi, it was a clear-cut instance of casting your pearls before swine. Just sayin.'

Can we now
Not really, because now that you mention it, that's another purpose for a t-shirt -- to contain unruly chest hair from showing if your outer shirt is unbuttoned at the neck. (Although nowadays most of us knock those hairs down with clippers to keep them from being "unruly".) But there again, the tank top doesn't serve that purpose because it dips down in the front.

It's for their future episodes on "COPS"

Considering the past decade, I’m resisting the urge to gloat... but this weekend is a great start!

Go Gators!!!

My feelings as well, CG. I'm left with the impression that Taggart knew he inherited some talent and that would be enough to dispose of a young Hokie team. Instead, it looked like Bud Foster had a copy of F$U's entire offensive script. Maybe too much "We got this" and not enough respect for the opponent and the game? Maybe the Tallahassee crowd thought they had the new next best thing in college football? Maybe Foley was a consultant on the hire? Couldn't help but think of Law @Swamp Donkey with the sideways nature of their running game. Their defense made me think of us under McElwain with some of the poor fundamentals. They look to have talent and athletes, but the question for them is can Taggart get his hands on a plan to better utilize his resources? His expressions during the game and afterward told a lot about his mindset and understanding of the arena in which he now stands. It's early, but he may have to pony up another million to keep the dogs at bay.
