I'm not knowledgeable about coaches contracts but good lord that sounds INSANE!

So if they happen to fire him after year 3 they would owe him $12million which is essentially the whole freakin' contract!

Is CDM's buyout that crazy?
If UF had to fire Mullen quickly (does not look likely fortunately) it is much less painful than what FSU would experience in year 1 ($21.5 million)

Mullen's test is to get through the next two years before our top tier Football ball center is underway. At the end of year 2 UF buyout pays Mullen 12 million versus 17 million for FSU to pay Taggart. UF has everything you need other than a Football center (that Mullen will have input on). After that it should be smooth sailing for Mullen.

Why would a coach wear a whistle to a game? It’s not practice! You’re not going to blow a play dead.

Oh my goodness. I hadn't even noticed that. Can this guy do anything else to look like a complete clown?

Another thing that no one's talking about is the fact that typically when a head coach has some sort of issue with something an opponent's doing during the game, there's at least some measure of protesting in the moment. A few years back Uk got a hold of our snap count and were calling it out. Meyer(I think) addressed it with the ref.In '93, Usce fans were blowing whistles from the stands when we had the ball and our players were thinking the play was being blown dead. Not surprisingly, that lasted about 2 drives before Spurrier made sure it ended. And of course, he didn't wait until the next week to bring to the officials' attention that DW was routinely being hit well after the whistle in '96. In contrast, WT did nothing, said nothing the entire game that would at least somewhat support his after the fact comments. He simply had no answer and looked like a buffoon for 60 minutes, and only NOW wants to create these excuses. Quite possibly the most embarrassing week ever for the noles.

Yes, this F$U stuff is real:

"Lethal Simplicity" on Offense
"Bad Asses War Daddies" on Defense.

:lmao:

I will leave it at this....

War Daddy
It is an inmate slang term for a pimp in a male prison; one who sets up sexual liaisons, just like a pimp on the streets does. The opposite of a sugar daddy.

Yes, VT faked one or two, it doesn't cause you to run the wildcat and get it blown up in a key spot, along with other dumbass playcalls.

Francois was heard fussing at his main WR : "You cut out at the 4th parking space. You were suppose to fly to the 7th parking space."

UF's buyout allows UF to fire Mullen quicker at a lower cost than FSU's. So FSU absolutely cannot fire Taggart for 3 years. FSU could incur poor attendance if fans tire of Taggart BUT unfortunately for them their debt service from their recent big stadium loans continues to come in.

If Mullen (who is a young head football coach) makes it through the end of his contract we will likely want him PLUS at that time UF will have its top tier Football center (which will be made like Mullen likes it) in place incentivizing him to stay. If Mullen chose to leave UF there would be no buyout and UF will be very attractive to another coach with top tier facilities in place combined with UF's strategic geographic location.

UF's buyout is better structured than FSU'S.
Taggarts buyout is only more than Mullens up to the completion of year 3. Mullens stays at 12M while Taggarts drops to 8M after year 4. I doubt either gets canned before then unless they're caught cheating, lying etc

Um, if you’re a perennial cheating program like FSU it’s not beyond reason to believe that Taggart would blow the whistle from the sideline in an attempt to make the VATech players believe that a still live play was blown dead by the officials. I wouldn’t put it past those cheating bastards.

What is Willie saying? That if VT hadn't used fake injuries to slow down the Nulls' uptempo offense, they would have scored twice as many points, and only have lost 24-6? Or, scored 4 times as many points, and only lost 24-12?

:lmao:

I'm convinced - the Holes got themselves a McElstain of their very own. I can't wait to see this train wreck unfold. Dis gon be gud.
