The only way we progress above the 3-4 win plateau is to bench Franks immediately and let Emory grow into the QB position. Let numbnuts transfer to some FCS school and be second string.

Realisticly, I say maybe 2 more wins. Were playing Colorado that just beat Ark next week. Maybe just maybe we beat Tinrc.

Scar, vandy, Miss st, are run heavy teams. LSU, Uga, Mizzou forget about it. FSU is a toss up.

You dont lose to KY. I say 3 wins. I will gladly eat crow if we win more. Sorry guys, I'm not trying to dump but we cant stop the run and our OL is miserable. This is the SEC and we are weak on the LOS

I am changing my 15-0 prediction.

I am now looking at 8-4. I really bought into the O-Line & D-Line improvements. Those will happen next year.

Hopefully, Emory gets a lot of experience this year so that he will have a fair chance to win the job next year.
FYI, that is not a dig on FF. I though he played pretty well against KY.

This season was never going to look good on paper. The wins and losses are important, but not as important as trajectory. I only want to be able to look back and feel like we got better as the season wore on. I think that's how you ultimately measure success at this point.

I agree. Franks did not play all that bad. He had no help form the oline or the running game...and had dropped passes. The read he missed for the 2 point conversion is all folks will remember. The lines of scrimmage is where this team must improve, a lot, and fast!

My earlier prediction was 6-6. I want to be a homer and stick w/ that prediction...but sometimes you call a spade a spade; 5-7. We will somehow beat UT and one of Vandy/Missouri/SC for 5 wins (CSU, CSU, UT, and Idaho being the others).

Had did have one pick, and a couple other passes that could’ve been picked. Franks wasn’t the reason we lost, he just can’t carry a team to victory. Honestly if Franks has to throw the ball more than 20-24 times in a game, most times we’ll probably lose.

Honestly, if you look at this team and think Franks is the primary problem, you should be allowed to speak.

3-9 at best.

Someone said there were "locker room" issues. Team is already falling apart this season.

Until all the Mac leftovers are flushed there is nothing to hope for here.

If we can beat CSU, 3 wins, the other being Idaho. The Oline has been garbage for years, I was hoping a new coaching staff could make them play better, but the bottom line is they are not SEC caliber players, so playing like they did against KY, they will get manhandled by all the other SEC dlines, even Vandy.

In the past, under chump, and the very good defense he left butters, we were competitive, the defense would score, pretty much hold up when they had to, especially against lesser quality teams. Thanks to not bringing in enough real Dline players, & LB's we are woefully undermanned and will continue to get our schit pushed in by any team that wants to run the ball.

This is a serious problem, no talent (forget their stars, they are busts mostly), no depth, players not wanting to come here, Mullens not recruiting that well, this is a deeeeeeeeeeeeep hole to get out of.

I said 7-5, now im not sure we can stay above .500. As far as a specific prediction... heck i dunno, nor do i really care at this point. I just hope that I see improvement from what we saw against kentucky. I aint asking for much, and yet with this group of stiffs it might not even be possible.

Please for the love of God just throw all the eggs in the recruiting basket and get a good class.

After watching last night , I see 4 wins maybe. I just don’t see how we can keep this recruiting class together and close strong with a dumpster fire of a season. I think we may be in a world of hurt here, with no way out.

We should hold our recruiting class and finish well. Recruits see a world of opportunity and playing time with our trash roster.

His dropped passes were the ones that hit the Kentucky players.
