I think it showed our boys just how beatable UGA is. Unlike last year, they'll actually believe they can win.

It’s hard to believe you can win when you’re being coached by a bunch of incompetent clowns who are completely devoid of energy or passion! Mullen and this staffs passion has been huge for our guys and it’s really made them play better in my opinion!

Uncle Lou is not happy...lol

He’s gonna need to head out to Wal Mart and pick up a new fan....

They’re screaming for Fields now but I’m not sure he’s ready to step in full time. Hope not. We have to deal with him the next couple of years. I’ll bet he at least gets a crap ton more snaps vs us in two weeks. Kirby will get tarred and feathered if he doesn’t and they lose to us.

Hard to say how the WLOCP will turn out but the buzz here in Jax is gonna be insane.

UGAly best team was last year. They are vulnerable with kinks in the armor. UF has just as good a shot to win as anyone. Not to mention that Mullen has seen a Kirby Defense for a long time coming from the West. Grantham should know just as much from being in the conference.

I’m no entirely excusing it, but it was tipped into the air. That happens to the best of them. Throws like the end zone pick last week are fair game, as is the fumble. But he also recovers better than anyone we’ve had since Tebow, and it’s not close. Not a great start, but with the current staff, he’s as mentally tough as just about anyone, and fought his way back. To me, that’s exactly what you want in a QB and leader.

The main point is, even after the fumble, he didn't get rattled. That's what good coaching does. He may never be an All-SEC QB, but the coaching change has really improved his capabilities

For all his failings, Franks has been nothing if not a factor at crunch time. I actually feel safe with him behind center and us trailing.

Big win for LSU. Really surprised at how easily UGA crumbled under pressure, but glad to see it happen. Gives us a lot of positive energy heading into the Cocktail Party.

I'm very please w/ Franks this year and his ability to bounce back from bad plays/throws/turnovers/situations. Mullen and Johnson have done a tremendous job. IMO, the two turnovers he had yesterday were bad play calls. They shouldn't put him in those situations (and the handoff to Pierce was off/odd) - all easily fixed after film study.

And once again, regardless of how it finishes, no great season can include a 20 point beating. It just can’t. Smartis probably a step up from Helen Hunt, but uga is still uga.

UGA lost by 20 to Auburn last year, still won the SEC Championship, and played for the NC. Let's just win in Jax and they'll have nothing to play for (except beating UK to give us the East).

Pretty remarkable, this game of college football. A month ago you couldn't have sold the idea of six wins the entire season for Florida without being laughed at.

Now in the span of seven days we've beaten LSU, which turned around and walloped Georgia, which allows us to actually think the unthinkable.

You gotta love it.

If we had a decent QB I would fee much better about our chances against them

Going into yesterday, Franks was the 5th rated QB in the conference and just a few yards shy of Fromm & Burrow. He’s got a way to go yet to be good, and could easily take a step or two back, but I think he qualifies as decent as of this morning.

Did a quick check on Facebook. Looks like all the ugly fans now hate Fromm and want him to transfer out so DJ Shockley JR can play.

Wow. They’ve had 3 of the best QB recruits and they are in meltdown after one game?

UGA had a ton of departures. The idea that you just “reload” with stellar recruiting classes is a myth. As Saban attempts to remind the world repeatedly, nothing is automatic. It’s recruiting + coaching + preparation + focus. Experience is the best teacher and it is normal to take some lumps even as you’re building towards a championship.

Getting rolled at LSU May do for them what losing to Kentucky did for UF, but I think that won’t last long when they find themselves getting hammered again in front of a rabid and revitalized Gator Nation. The puppies tuck their tails pretty quickly and resort to form.

I expect a slug fest and think the Gators have a very good chance to beat them and think we will.
