It feels like a month since we have played...

UF 23
Dwags 20

A pick 6 the difference, after Polite hits Fromm and a wobbler floats into Cece’s mitts!

Having a hard time picturing us winning this game. Georgia will get off to an early lead with their rushing game and we will make adjustments forcing Fromm to beat us. We claw our way back in and will have a late game opportunity to win but Feleipe won't be enough.

My gut says UGA. We can win, just not sure we're there yet. They're coming off a beating to LSU, so that taste is still fresh. They have more to lose by not showing up because of expectations. Seriously hope I'm wrong.

I believe we'll see a lot more of Fields at QB. Think they have used the bye to work him more fully into the game plan and hedge their bets should Fromm be just ok again. Think we'll struggle to adjust to him at first but he will make a freshman mistake or two.

Thinking back to the preseason "Georgia is the new Bama" thread on this board that got me really agitated over all the Dog praise from some Gator fans. Will NEVER pick them to beat us, ever!

Gators win 24-20.

My visions have been too blurry to see the score numbers, but I could see that after this WLOCP them UGa boys gonna need Sarah McLauchlan to take care of them.

I just have a hunch that the dogs really won't have their heads in the game.

Bruce Feldman's pick:

No. 7 Georgia vs. No. 9 Florida (+6.5), 3:30 p.m. ET, CBS
The Dawgs have faced one strong opponent this season and got blown out. I think they’ll have their hands full with Florida, which has more difference-makers on D and seems to be playing with more confidence than Georgia. Kirby Smart’s defense is last in sacks and tackles for loss in the SEC. Florida 19, Georgia 17

Stewart Mandel's pick:

No. 7 Georgia (-6.5) vs. No. 9 Florida, 3:30 p.m. ET, CBS
I knew definitively that Kirby Smart’s Dawgs truly were different than recent predecessors last year when then-7-0 Georgia went to Jacksonville and blew out longtime tormentor Florida 42-7. This Florida team seems far more competent across the board, and Georgia’s defense isn’t quite as dominant as a year ago, but the gap between the two rivals is wider than their rankings suggest. Georgia 26, Florida 17

Predictions aside, Mandel is an absolute schmo who seems to always find a way to take shots at us. He was the only national writer that had the audacity to tell us to suck it up after the 2003 Swindle game, even attempting to down play the amount of bad calls and/or questioning the their illegitimacy. I remember ripping him in an email that he actually responded to in his typical tool bag form.

I see a river of tears filling the city of Jacksonville and spilling into the SJR. Pain and agony, followed by screams of horror at the look of the scoreboard which reads: Florida 34, Georgia 3

I tried to hit both "drunk" and "like" but it didn't work. So I went with "like" because UGAly pain and screams of horror are involved.

27-13 good guys

We have a 27-6 lead and the pups score a late Justin Fields TD run to close the gap.

Gators come out fired up for this one; defense pressures Fromm and gets a few turnovers--a pick 6 and a fumble recovery which leads to another TD.
The running game is solid with Scarlett and Perine combining close to 200 yards. Franks is focused throughout the game and throws for 250 + with two TDs.
Final score Gators 38 buttsniffers 20.
