We might lose, but I don't feel panicky with our coaching staff this year. Lots of time left. We haven't started fantastically during games this year. Things in this game are turning around. D is settling in. Offense starting to produce. I'm concerned about losing Henderson, but otherwise, we're looking solid.

Second 3 & out in a row for our D. I’d like to see that trend continue.

Edit: But I’ll take a couple of pick 6s too!

If we can stop beating ourselves, we could possibly win this.

There’s no excuse for allowing them to drive the field and get points at the end of the half. That play call with Emery also sucked. I think we get points from that drive if we convert that 3rd down.

A half that could have been a lot different but guess I should be okay that we are down only 6. The two questions I had going into the game:/
1. Can we stop the UGA run game? Well we have not really but since we have moved the ball offensively UGA has not had a lot of opportunities

2. will Franks not do something stupid? Unfortunately no, as there is no way around it that he is a mental midget in the passing game. One INT b/c he stared the WR and the UGA CB baited him into that throw. It was so obvious to see that the flat was wide open, but Franks predetermined his throw out of the huddle. Franks should have had a 2nd INT as he stared his WR down for so long that the offside Safety had the INT and dropped it. It is just way too late in the season for Franks to learn how to play with his eyes, so he is going to have to be micromanaged as much as possible.

Neither turnover is Cosuin Eddie's fault and he called a great 1st half offensively, except for that 3rd and 1 call with Jones at QB. That was atrocious given the situation. Even if suceessful it was not the time and place risk vs. reward. Kirby also made a horrendous game management decision by not using a timeout prior to the first punt at the end of the half. However that last 50 seconds was an absolute embarrassment in pass coverage.

All things considered, with the way we started the game I’m happy to be in a one-possession game. Prior teams would have folded and said Wait till next year but this years group is a 4th quarter bunch. We’ve got this.

I believe that the play from Emory is supposed to be the one he is expert at running. I am not enamoured of freshmen.
