Win out and we’ll be in a NY6 bowl. I hope like hell it’s against UCF.
We're not Auburn. The state is at stake. I'm pretty sure he'll have 'em ready. If it is, UCF will be fired up to play us. Hopefully Dan will have our guys ready too.
Penn St. is not very good. Michigan's defense is ridiculous and their offense is good enough to get the job done with that defense.Michigan won’t beat pOSU.
Why are the talking heads all of a sudden thinking they’re world beaters?
Wut?Penn St. is not very good. Michigan's defense is ridiculous and their offense is good enough to get the job done with that defense.
They'll beat Ohio St., too.Wut?
pOSU.....as in Piece of Shyt University....
Not Pedo State
Great for recruiting if that happens.Finish out year beating Fsu and Ucf, then start next year beating the Canes, would be pretty awesome.
I'd like to play them, but bowl games are different animals.
1. We have a number of players looking at NFL careers. I'll guarantee their heads won't be in it like the regular season.
2. If UCF goes undefeated and gets passed over for the playoffs again, this will be their championship. They'll be looking to send a message. Can our guys match their level of intensity? I doubt it.
3. How does Mullen prep for the game? Many coaches treat bowl games differently. They use the time to prep for next season and don't game plan the way they do regular season games. For example, freshman getting a ton of practice time that they didn't get during the season. Mac did this. So does Jimbo. Some coaches use it as a vacation and don't care at all. Some coaches take it seriously.
Does Mullen look like the type to take the Fiesta bowl as vacation time? Hell no. That will be his biggest bowl as a coach, aside from the Orange bowl in 2014. He's going to want to win it.
Most coaches don't treat bowls like vacations. Most from big time programs aren't like Harbaugh either, who treats them seriously. Most are somewhere in the middle. That's just a fact. Why do you think more and more players are deciding not to play in those shyte games? Instead, they are choosing to leave the team and prepare for the draft? They don't mean anything to a large program. The players and coaches know it.
Maybe....only this is Mullens first stop at a big time program. I'd bet my house he's going to take it more serious than most if they land in a New Years 6 bowl, which the Fiesta is.Most coaches don't treat bowls like vacations.
