I'm hoping our game against FSU next Saturday will be reminiscent of the 2005 match up.
We were coming off three seasons of mediocrity. FSU had won two of the last three, including the Swindle in 2003. We were optimistic but not totally certain that our new coach would bring us back. There had been some real setbacks during the season. The offense had struggled.
But that night in the Swamp was a blast. The Gators dominated for 60 minutes in all phases. If felt like we were poised to take over the state. Which, of course, we did.
I hope that's how it goes down at Doak. I think it's very possible.
