Anybody watching the Egg Bowl? Corral came in for the struggling starter. Playing pretty well and just threw his first TD. Afterwards he gets into it with some State player and ends up having his helmet ripped off while going at it. Both players were grabbing each other helmets and throwing semi-punches. Interesting...

Edit - now they just waived off the play as the clock had expired for the quarter right before the snap. And at least 4 players ejected and every other player received their first personal foul.

Gotta love rivalry games!

He looks like exactly what people thought during recruiting. Great physical talents. Terrible attitude that almost looks for trouble. He’ll put up stats but will never lead any team to anything of consequence. You want your QB to be the cooler head and keeping players in the game at this point, not leading the charge, looking like a thug and then conveniently allowing yourself to be “restrained”.

Glad he’s not a Gator.

I never cared for him either, seemed very immature and acted like a show boat trash talker from the start.

Dude was totally committed to the last coach and then chose to go to ole miss, red flags all over the place.

He chose to go to the only school that held out an offer. McElwain was so desperate he didn’t care about the details and was just happy he actually had a recruiting “win”. Once Mullen arrived, it was clear he had no place here.

The fact that an Elite 11 QB from California had no offers except from a guy banging sharks and a team on probation, says it all.

May not like what he did or the manner in which he did it, but I'd bet dollars to donuts he just earned the support of every returning player on that team. Just saying.

Yeah nothing like losing 35-3 to unite the team behind you.

Watched it. Guy appears to be a doosh. Committed to Macelstain so that should tell us all we need to know.

I liked his talent & swagger. He reminds me of Sexy Rexy. He will either be great or terrible, with no in between.

Comparisons like this are completely useless, but let’s just say Corral is the exact same player as Mayfield, there are two glaring differences; 1) The talent level and coaching situation at OU is far superior to Ole Miss 2) the SEC actually places a major emphasis on defense, unlike the Big 12. Corral has no chance

He did run the ball (scramble due to pressure). He was quick to make the decision and take off. He's not a pure runner but could have run Mullen's offense.
