That game was fun. I was sad when A&M scored that last 2 pt conversion, not because I give a crap about LSU but I was hoping to see the first ever 8OT game.

If you give up 70 points you deserve to lose :) (shucks that would have made a perfect Robbie tweet). Both DC's deserve to be fired immediately.

I saw the headline on ESPN.com. I thought it was a misplaced basketball score.

Holy crap you aren’t kidding. I thought this was hyperbole and clicked on it expecting a 3-0 nail biter or something.

I got sucked in to watching the whole game 'til around 1 AM. It was quite the spectacle. Clutch plays after clutch plays. That 6'6" receiver for A&M is pretty amazing.

I watched it. The defenses just ran out of gas. There were two real flukes at the end of regulation that saved A&M. The good news is that I can't see how we don't possibly get a better bowl now. With Washington State and LSU both losing and UCF headed for a almost certain beat down at the hands of Memphis we should get something pretty nice. Hopefully with an extra month of practice time Mullen can get the guys ready.

Got sucked into watching it in the fourth and couldn’t turn it off. Kept waiting on a dropped pass, sack, fumble something. Kinda a crazy thing to watch.

One thing that MUST be addressed before the bowl game is who's leaving and if you are, either commit to giving 100% in this bowl game or sit it out. I'm fking tired of watching guys that are leaving early come out and give zero effort, then we end up getting blown out because of their selfish attitude. If you aren't going to play your ass off in your final game you won't even dress out and you backup can play and if asked by the media I would tell them exactly why they aren't playing. So word to some of the guys on D, Scarlett and others........you shyt the bed and you'll sit the rest of the game.............period.

It was addictive. Once you were in, you were all in, for the duration. I can't believe I watched all 7 OTs! But it was worth it. I was in The Swamp last year for the loss to TAMU. Prior to the game, and, well, during and even after, their fans were nothing but a class act. Friendly, polite, many had never been to Gainesville before and politely asked for directions, etc. They were a nice opponent (unlike the fans of the team they beat last night) and so I was pulling for them, through regulation, and all seven OTs.

Plus . . . now that LS Who has 3 losses, one of which was to us, we should leapfrog them in the rankings, and be a Top 10 team going into our bowl game!

An amazing game that I sat up and watched until the end.

In time I think the NCAA needs to look at how they document the final score in these overtime games.
We all know that the score was not 74-72 but the teams averages will include these ridiculous numbers.

Maybe list the final score in regulation and then add an OT victory to it.

Yeah I watched most of it and all of the ending and overtime.

I started pulling for A&M just because of the irritating LSU band when theyd make that long loud car horn sound while A&M was in the huddle.

QB for A&M was irratic during regulation but stepped up quite a bit in OT. During regulation he'd try to run, pause and try to juke like Barry Sanders, then get yard saled by the LSU defense 5 yds behind the line of scrimmage. His passing was all over the place in regulation. OT was Completely different.

Agree on that A&M receiver. How is he not one of the most dominant receivers in the nation?

Quite a way to end the regular season of college football.

LSU / Texas A&M: After last night’s 7OT slobberknocker, staff members got into it on the field. This is something. The first video is of the fight; but don’t miss the one at the bottom where the A&M staffer explains to Jimbo that he just punched Steve Kragthorpe.
LSU / A&M staff fight: See the update at the bottom of this article to hear how Steve Kragthorpe explains what happened.

I live in NE LA, the meltdown today has been epic. Yes I watched it til the end, and even though I HATE LSU, I probably hate Jimbo Fisher more. It doesn’t surprise me his nephew took a swing at a man with Parkinson’s.
The officiating was horrible. It just looked like they were waiting for A&M to pull it off. Oh well, corn dogs loss is our gain. The end justifies the means.

Don't know or care who may have been fighting but there was some great catches in OT. Hell the overall play seemed to improved in OT.

Let me get this straight: your team wins yet you are inspired to punch a 53-year-old man with Parkinson's and a pacemaker? Class act, there.
