Rumor is auburn is trying to fire Gus, and Keondre Jones and Jarren Handy are two we’d love to get

There was a report a month or so ago that a prominent AU Booster said money was not an issue, when asked about Malzahn's buyout.

I think we could use him here if he didn't want or could go the HC route right away. He would really be able to expand the playbook and concepts.

Cannot help but think that these commits are coming because of Mullen's wins + his sideline handling of players after mistakes + persona at pressers. On these "way down the road commits", are we pursuing them or do they first just contact us & then we check 'em out ?

We should not poo-poo this long-reach recruiting because each kid is bound to be a leader on his team. That kid will have x-years of soft recruiting among HS stars of his years. Its like dripping orange & blue food coloring into the bowl of HS clear water - it spreads out. Let Gator influence spread far & wide. Thanks Coach.

I could see AU getting themselves in a situation like Tennessee did last year and having to settle. That would make it possible to put a raid on their recruiting class.

I'm done with QB transfers TBH. Franks is actually improving, EJ looks strong, JJ is coming in next year, we still have Toney and Trask, and Jaylin Jackson could be QB if needed.

Our staff is trying to flip FSU's DB commit Travis Jay. Went and visited him today. Also if Tyrique Stevenson makes grades he can visit us.

If we had a championship level team and all we needed was a championship level QB then I could see us bringing a Jalen Hurts or a Kelly Bryant. But we are a year or two away from that.

CGJ just declared for the draft. I'm waiting for the other dominos to fall to clarify the numbers.

Kid is a stud. Plays QB and DB. Would love to see him in Gainesville but not sure if he could qualify.

Dang it. I remember AB was considered the least talented of the Lakeland gang that year. Too slow to play CB and too small to play S. I thought he was a 3*, but clearly my memory failed me. He certainly gave us some great highlights, though.

It's pretty easy to understand why you thought so. Meyer never missed a chance to drop a Cleveland Steamer on him with a type of backhanded praise.

Couple white boys in that class that never contributed much, from Lakeland
