Oldest son, during one of his tours as a Cav Scout in Iraq and this past October (he’s a recruiter now.) We are VERY proud. Go Army!

um...I don't think that turned out quite the way you think it did. In any case thank you for your service from a Navy man. A good friend of mine is a Colonel who owns a Bronze Star for his service in your branch, my dad was an artillery captain. I have the utmost respect for you guys. That doesn't mean I won't be plowing your women during my victory celebration when you lose tomorrow, though.

You are correct. Tears flow freely from tough old men when they disembark from the barge to that sacred white canopy. Men who awoke as ordinary on a bright Sunday morning are entombed as heroes by noon.
