This will end poorly and quickly.

It is amazing how many ADs follow the "just hire someone from Bammer" theory.

I like the hire better than Whisenhunt. But I agree w/ the Alabama theory. That's why the guy at Central Michigan hired Butters; they worked at Alabama at the same time. I watched Temple a few times (due to betting on games) and they didn't look too bad - for Temple. I think he'll make a strong effort to recruit (which is how he got his start at Alabama) and at least TRY to push UGA for players. It'll be interesting to see how it works out.

I wasn't a huge fan of Collins when he was here. Thought he was a decent DC, but
played too much zone for my taste. I'll say he was better than Randy and what i've
seen from Grantham thus far. As far as recruiting goes it wouldn't be fair to put
it all on his feet, but outside of Cece and Moon i'm of the opinion he wasn't able
to adequately replace the pieces of the puzzle he was given. It's a better hire
than Whisenhunt, but not exactly a good one either. Collins is a pretty average
football coach in my opinion.

He’s gonna be there a decade with the has to get his own guys excuse and pulling off 6 wins a year. The fans I know stopped caring a decade ago. Now they are just happy to have a team.

Remember how pissed off Mullens was when we stole Collins from Cowbell and he called it a “lateral move”. Good times.

Sidehat is a "decent" DC. He will never be elite but he will do ok where he is going. I don't like Grantham but lets be real, he is better than Randy or Sidehat. The fact that he reeks of dawg makes it hard to accept but I feel like if he gets top talent (hopefully) he will actually be good enough to help us to a NC. I know, I am reaching... Go Gators!

After about 72 hours on campus and his vehicle gets broken into for the fourth time, he’ll regret it.

I laughed at this entirely too loud.

I always tell folks that are going to Atlanta to keep their wallets in their front pocket.

Only happened once to me on campus. Lost my eight track and my speakers.
