Lose their scholarship? Seriously? They are leaving. You think they give a crap about a scholarship when they aren't going to school anymore? That ain't a penalty. Transfer restrictions? They are leaving for the NFL! Are you even reading this thread? Mac is making money bc he didn't leave, he was fired which was a premature termination of a contract. Ding ding!!! There's a penalty, only this time the school was the one that ended things so they are on the hook, but the penalty for doing so is there, just the way it would be if he walked early for a better job.

He is just worried about Willllie and what will happen when he leaves.

Fun fact: the number of wins he had as a member of the 2015 Gator football team was more than he’d earn either year with West Virginia.
Who gives a eff? Tell it to his bank account. Had he remained with Butters, he goes undrafted.

Such jilt.

When a head coach leaves a program before the bowl game it's never an issue. Players getting ready for the NFL should be extended the same courtesy. Grier is making the responsible decision to sit out for their meaningless bowl game.

You could literally make the "bank account" argument about any professional athlete you talk sh*t about. It's an argument a 5 year old would make.

So coaches should payback 1/3 of the money received when they leave for a new job right?

Dude:

I am totally against being able to break contracts....yeah that's right.

And if a coach benched a kid...he cries and takes his ball and goes home?

And what about the OL that blocked for his ass? What, leave them in the cold?

And if they suck in the bowl and those seniors look bad...can they sue the twit because their stock went down?

It's a team sport.

Here is a thought have an 8 team playoff and drop other bowls. That's what it's coming to.

Butters laughs when he looks at his bank account.

Sas, why aren't you a coach?

Your arguments about Grier are far dumber than anything I can come up with. You're jilted that he left UF, otherwise you'd be a nutswinger. At least be honest about it.

So tired of hypocrites like you. Be honest for once.

I was done with him the second he tested positive for a PED in college. It’s damn near impossible to do, yet this mental midget accomplished it. And I don’t fawn over overrated Big 12 quarterbacks who play against teams with statues for safeties and corners who are constantly not even in the TV picture while in coverage. The Will Grier comedy will be over as soon as he starts trying to throw to receivers who are actually covered.

I don’t dig 120 hour work weeks. :deadnanner:
A friend of mine (close enough to be in my wedding) just lost his job at a P5 school, after working his way up from NAIA, because his head coach is an idiot.

Not much fun moving every few years.

Some players don't fit the scheme, get home sick or lose family. Do you bash grimes or van? I dont. It's idiotic to hold the labor force to a completely different set of rules than the coaches knowing they have no other avenue to showcase their nfl talent. As for the playoffs it should be expanded to the FCS size.

Could you imagine if he stayed. Butters may still be here. We actually were blessed. 2 years of butters is better than 5-6 years of him.

Butters managed to stunt Grier's production in every game except one. I'm confident of Butters' ability to fvkk it up even had Grier stayed.

It's damn near impossible to think you can get away with throwing a stolen laptop out your dorm window and yet a certain NFL MVP did it in college, in Gainesville, in broad daylight.

They're kids. They're dumb. You should try it some time. You know, the parent thing.
