And Im sure many will celebrate if we pull out another Butterish 10-15 class, and pretend we really wanted the 3 star fillers all along.
I'm trying to stay high on the year we had(expected to do much worse record wise) but this is sound wisdom….There's NO WAY we shouldn't be hovering around 10-12th right now after the season we had.....at worse.... and maybe even better...….I've said it before and completely agree with The Jackass that we need to be in the top 5-8 to even have a remote chance to compete with UGA, Bama, Clemson and other top 5-10 programs...even good coaching won't overcome mediocre talent in the world of CFB....it might get you a lot of 8-4 or 9-3 seasons but there's a reason guys like Osbourne, Switzer, Johnson, Bowden, SOS, Carroll, Urchin, Saban and such win titles...

Lets wait to piss and moan after we actually know who and what we sign. We may all be crying then but who knows. The donk just loves to stir the pot and he cant go thru a whole day without whining and misery. If there is no reason, he fabricates one.
That is just way too phukking reasonable. You're gonna see some major insults now!

But.. silent commits. :bob:

I'm torn between wanting a 10th ranked class and a 20th ranked class because a 20tth ranked class might light a fire under Mullen to get some new recruiters.

All I know is that when the new All-In-One is open in 2022 we're gonna rake in the recruits.

Dude, we're not the same program that we once were. Everyone keeps freaking out because our rivals are doing better than we are. Well yeah, those programs haven't broken down and destroyed. It was never gonna be a meteoric rise like with Smart at UGA.

Everyone seems to overlook just how broken this football program was. Recruiting aside, Mac was turning us into an FAU-type program. But maybe that's where we diverge as fans. A lot of these kids really respect our brand. It's why we're usually in the running for the top kids. It's just hard to get them to commit to our second rate program.

I know a lot of you will dislike this because it's not over the top or irrational, but being frustrated is a choice. I choose to look at the team for what it is and not what I expect it to be. And right now, we're not on the same playing field as the big boys. The positivity comes when realizing not many teams will just push us around anymore. Dan will at least have us ready to compete. It's not the finish line, but it's a start.
Killing the bearer of good tidings is a time honored tradition in these parts. Don't forget your flak jacket.

Man, you are just determined to swim directly into the GC riptide of negativity instead of swimming sideways until you are past it. I do it myself sometimes. The glass is definitely half full. Go Gators!!

How is your opinion a fact? We'll find out in February just how good this class looks. We won't know for a few years whether this class "cuts it" in the long run.

The Florida Gators are in no position to snap our fingers and get a top five class. This thing is all broke and jacked up. This thing is going to take some time to fix.

What's more important in your opinion, our record or how we actually perform on the field? The reason I ask, is because with the mac years, folks said the trips to the SECCG, and the record weren't really a good indicator of how the team was doing. That it was more so a weak east and muschamps defense.

I'm not sure how it's hard to judge savage? We had less injuries than I can ever remember, we never gave up or appeared to run out of gas like before, and everyone raves about him, opposite of kent.

As for Seider vs knox, I think seider is a better recruiter, but how is he as a coach? Was it important for Mullen to be able to trust his coaches year one while putting his stamp on UF?

Prediction: Traz will never admit our S & C program is above average. Nor our coaching or recruiting. Our guys could be wearing two NC rings and the schtick wouldn’t change. Really going out on a limb here....

Lol... You're right.

I grew to hate Muschamp and never cared for Mac. But I actually like Mullen. And, outside of recruiting shortcomings, he's done a hell of a job. We had a pretty good season and I'm interested to see how the class turns out. So, I stand in the face of the Mullen detractors and try to impart some good "ju-ju."

I'm well aware that my opinion is in the minority around these parts.

Current, CURRENT. As in how things stand NOW. READ.

Unless you think a class ranking in the 20s and 11th in the SEC will cut it. And we won't find out in Feb. We'll find out in a few days b/c like 90% of kids will be signing on ESD.

I’m pretty sure there are a lot more pumpers than dumpers here. Us pumpers are just reluctant to articulate as the dumpers hit us with the facepalms.

Being called a “****ing idiot” by the Donk is a rite of passage here.

I'm not dumping...But we are the best program in the state for the first time in 9 years. This should create more momentum along with a top 10 ranking than where our current class stands.
