Im not afraid of that. Im more optimisitc than with Butters, but Im also realistic enough to know we need athletes and lots of them.

Hate to see CDM break up a good coaching team to find a recruiter, but I don't think he will be a good recruiter. The clothing issues are only symptoms, but they help explain why be he is never likely to be a good recruiter.
One more time: his hope and ours is in "bootstrapping". Better coaching leads to slightly better recruiting which leads to a better record which leads to better recruiting.......

Since we now have multiple recruiting threads, does this mean we can have threads on individual recruits, since we aren't abiding by ONE recruiting thread anymore?

There’s never been an issue with having more than one recruiting thread. We’ve always historically had a recruiting thread for every record.

I hadn't paid much attention to recruiting for about two months. Just looked at Rivals. That is not a pretty picture. it looks like we need to pull in some 6 to 8 additional four stars and I don't see where they're coming from. I think JDH's post lays it out pretty clearly. We can do more with less this season. But then we'll have to do a lot more with less next season. I'm glad most of you guys are optimistic. Hope you're right.

All but Elam should be signing early and there are still some out there that have started to give us more consideration like Fuller, Dent, and Pickering that are not signing early. We got that DT from Utah that can't go to bama anymore...don't think we get him but i think that helps us with Pickering...bama probably doesn't have room for him either.
