That is the rule now. A scUM kid who asked for a release would sit out 2019 and be eligible in 2020.

There are reports that
If a kid played til week four then quit next fall, he could transfer in Jan 2020 but would have to sit out 2020 and play in 2021. Make sense?
As for waiver, who knows.
Ok, that isn't the rule though. If scum kids asked for a release now, or just don't go to campus, they could "sit out" 2019 and play in 2020.

With the momentum we've gained, I expect to see more changed minds changed into choosing UF, choosing Mullen -- even some vaunted flips. Those places replete with confusion, with dubiousness should have a last minute exodus. We need to do some recruit rustling.

I had heard that Bama was working Bogle. Not sure if he fits their numbers. UT was a popular smoke stack for a min, so maybe there. Would have to think we'd have a good shot considering our close and UM's fold, if we pushed for him.

Huge get and it’s a sigh of relief if Elam goes elsewhere...I like us getting both but it wouldn’t be the end of the world if Elam gets a bag from UGA
