What we’ve got with Muschamp... | GamecockCentral.com

One of my favorite posts, when some were lusting over Less Miles:

Les Miles is not a good coach. Any seasons he had success were due to very expensive and good coordinators. He is an idiot. I mean truly. Muschamp may never make a great head coach, but him in one of those Escape Rooms where you have to find your way out, he eventually would. Les Miles would die there. Even with hints. Lots of hints.

Hypothetical: What if next year | GamecockCentral.com

Several think he keeps the job even if he goes 3-9 next year, as they seem to expect bc of the "tough schedule".

This one from cockytalk is my favorite. This guy gets it.

"Muschamp is one of those guys who will pound a circle into a square hole and get you to believe that he can make it work until he’s still standing there with a hammer and a crazy look in his eye and everyone has slowly walked away after a few awkward and cringy hours."

Not sure how to ever top this. Nice.

I stopped reading after this gem:

"Ray Tanner, whose background is as a BASEBALL COACH, grabbed the first guy with a name he'd heard of."

Sound familiar. May not be the exact script, but clearly in the same neighborhood that FOOLEY resided in!!!!

Mushchump is a zOoK type ... a Tryhard who has some quality coaching ability in a range of the full spectrum of football but has no depth or clue in other parts. He believes he can outwork the competition instead of outsmart. That will work in certain leagues but in the SEC you have to outwork and outsmart. He has the potential to be an every once in a while 10 winner who can luck his way into a conf champ game, but his mixture will always yield failure in the end. He just doesn't have all the right tools and USC doesn't have the $ to compliment him with the right tools.

Zook was a better coach than the Chimp.

I really dont know if either one is better than the other as that is a subjective rabbit hole type of debate. But, in the end ... they both don't have the tools in their toolbox to get it done. zOoK at least gave the next guy a loaded weapon. Chump gave butters a pile of poo ... and butters somehow made that pile of poo even worse.

Prediction: Muschamp goes 5-7 next year....meanwhile in the state of Michigan Butters "turns around" CMU with a similar 5-7 record....Muschamp gets fired and Tanner brings in yet another former UF coach to save the program.

Hilarious stuff from the morons. They are praising Spurrier as if we don’t remember how they trashed him the minute the program fell back a step. He took them to places they didn’t belong and will never be again yet they couldn’t get rid of him fast enough. As far as Tanner as AD, the other SEC schools stopped promoting coaches to AD’s about the time ESPN came along. Apparently news of this trend hasn’t made it to South Carolina yet. Good luck idiots
