Coaching change in Miami was not a good development, I’m baffled why you included that.

And you forgot to mention Muschamp getting embarrassed 28-0, which would be #2 on my list.
Manny Diaz getting on the job training is a fantastic development. And SCar is irrelevant to our long term success. They aren’t stealing any recruits from us and they aren’t a rival. They’re a minor nuisance.

Agreed. UCF is the Ocasio-Cortez of college football.
Well since people seemed to like this nonsense and objected to me trying to keep my thread on track, I’d say UCF is more like the Donald Trump of college football. They think they’ve accomplished something without actually doing anything, made fake claims to success, they’re generally useless, and they’ll never be heard from again in any meaningful way before the decade is over.

Oh and they have a throng of delusional supporters who avoid facts like the plague.

I hope not. I want UF to get them.
Usually, I would want them to lose, but I think it'd be poetic for us to end their run.

We were on top in '09. Had just completed the first undefeated regular season in school history only to have little Nicky curb-stomp us in the SECCG. It was the beginning of the darkest decade in school history. Every time I see Alabama I think of Timmy crying on the sideline in Atlanta. We haven't been the same since.

But oh what joy it would bring to get to face them next year and return the favor. Re-introduce ourselves on a national level while getting Saban the hell up outta there.

Mullen made an interesting statement at his presser that not many teams would want to play us right now. I took that two fold. He's speaking to the fact that we played well down the stretch, but also he's foreshadowing. He realizes this was probably the worst team he'll have to coach here. Going forward we won't be an easy win for anyone, Bama included.
I see your point. But Clemson winning, alone, won't end Bammers run. That and losing to us next year in the SECCG will be a good start. (IMO)

I would like to see Bamma lose now because it could (probably won't) impact NSD.

It was an aside that most of us just passed over. But you couldn't leave it alone, could you? The floodgates are now open. TDs. It was a good thread. You opened and closed it.

Bama's recruiting train won't be affected by a win or loss. I guess if a kid was torn between Bama and Clemson it could have an impact on that kid. But overall Bama's clearly perched atop as the premier college football team as well as the liveliest NFL pipeline.

Now, you're right about them losing to Clemson won't end their run. But what I'm saying is the equivalent to wanting your rival to win all their games so you can knock them down. I want them riding a 30 game win streak.

I’d say it’s AOCDS.

Oh! And I forgot UCF fans also believe idiotic conspiracy theories like Stricklin actively avoiding them in the bowl game.

You do know many coaches of top teams use the bowl practices as prep for next year and game plan like an nfl team does in the preseason? Look as Saban's bowl record outside of the playoffs. You think he cared about those meaningless bowls? No.
Agree, but I'm using it as a recruiting tool against uga, any negative baby!

Sounds like you suffer from TDS. The Ocasio-Cortez analogy was spot on whether you like it or not. And the obsession with her was initiated and perpetuated by the media which why we make fun of her. One has to take something seriously to obsess over it and she brings nothing to the party. To suggest that the president has not accomplished anything is just silly. You may not agree with him but he has accomplished a lot in two years. It’s pretty obvious who has an obsession here

Sooooo...:
Back to the OP.

Who do we want to win Monday?

SEC (#neverACC) or a beatdown for Saban?

I like SEC dominance.
