Nice.

Also noticed this in the bio: "Worley Global Enterprises, a leadership development and marketing communication consulting firm."

Yikes. That is some serious corporate buzzword nonsense. I just don't see how they can continue to have that intern from NYU.

That’s got a real “Prestige Worldwide” vibe going for it.

I'm proud and thankful the Gators had 5 or 6 lower classmen who plan on entering the draft. Two of them are probably first rounders. They all played. They improved their draft status, and happily, there were no injuries.

They’ve got next year to win it all or it might be a few more seasons before they get in a top flight qb again

I dearly hope "Coach Smart" blows him off.

Remove the word "off" and you probably have a more likely scenario.

Chump Deux got lucky that we had a worse coach. He will be fired in a couple of years just like Chump Uno. They can croot and cannot coach em up.

Yeeeeeeah. I actually checked out his site. As you can see from his promotional video, apparently being a football player who f**ked up your golden opportunity multiple times by getting DUIs and suspended from the league makes you an expert on "leadership and communications".

And for God's sake, can people PLEASE learn the difference between the words domiNATE and domiNANT? Thank you.

I couldn't agree more with Tim Worley's sentiments - even if he is a dwag. While I certainly understand what's at risk in playing, particularly if you have a shot at being a first rounder, it just seems like a cruddy thing to do your teammates and all the folks who supported you throughout your time at a university. And yes, I realize it's easy for me to say this because I was never (nor will my children ever be) in this situation, but whether the players feel it or not, they do owe something to the fans. After all, if the fans ever lose interest, that's the end of the show. To his other point, if you are going to play - play like you mean it. I was very proud of the effort the Gators put forth in the Peach Bowl. (I stared to single out some players by name, but realized it would take up too much space and I'd invariably forget somebody, but it was clear that as a team they wanted to be there and wanted to win or die trying.) It was also obvious to anyone at the game, that some of Michigan's players (and possibly their HC) did not seem to care. I can't imagine how irritated and disappointed I'd be to lay out the kind of money it costs to go to a bowl game and have the Gators not show up. (For the record, I bought six tickets, but our travel expenses were limited to a couple gallons of gas and a parking spot - others I am sure laid out a lot more.)

That was a good- to great editorial. Before reading it, I didn't have any strong feelings about players sitting out a bowl game to avoid injury before going into the draft. After reading it, I agree with him, that the scholarship demands that they play if called upon. I agree with the rest of what he wrote, too. No reason this editorial can't be personalized to the Gators and appropriately presented to our players.

Edit: @Gator By Marriage: Good job in spelling "dwags" correctly!

You better take advantage of the chances you get! There is no crystal ball giving you insight to the future and most trains get derailed. "Coach" smart has blown two in a row.

This is still uga. They didn't take advantage of the moment when all they had to do was beat Ron Zook to finish undefeated and (likely) play an overconfident miami team in2002. They didn't take advantage in 2007 or 2008 when they had the number one overall pick under center, and loads of other NFL talent around him. In fact, in both of those cases, they had inexplicable blowout losses. It's what they do.

I still think we have one more year to hold them off without winning a title before they step back a little.

When an SEC divisional champion loses the SEC championship game they have a tendency not to show up for the subsequent consolation prize bowl game. Bama folded against Utah. We went to sleep against Louisville. Now Georgia's gone and done it against Texas. When you lose the SEC championship game and therefore lose your chance at winning the national championship it's hard to keep on going.

This is what burns me about past criticism that Gators don't travel well. A bowl game is a significant investment and to know in advance that your team is going to sit on the sidelines and pout is not a draw. I'd lay out money for Shreveport in December if I got the team we had in the Peach this year.

Mark Bradley trotted out this old canard in defense (if it can be called that) of Georgia's performance. Critics of the SEC are wise to it. And there's always something to play for. See above.

For a guy who gives advice about leadership and ****... he could take a middle-school level writing class and improve a fair bit.

.. and if one more person uses 'dominate' where it should read 'DOMINANT' I'm going to freaking punch my monitor.
