Cleveland is one of my favorite current era receivers. He has had some special moments during some really crappy times that made a lot of us smile when there wasn't much to smile about. I hope he kills it next year.

Was Cleveland leaving even a consideration by anyone? Not sure how a guy who barely gets on the field in college expects to even get a sniff in the NFL. I wish him well next year but he better make huge strides if he wants a shot at the league.

That’s interesting you say that. I think he has some of the biggest plays in gator history.

Wasn’t he hurt this year?

If he had a QB that could consistently throw it down the field I think he would’ve had a monster year.

I know this has been discussed before, but I personally hope Cleveland switches to safety. We are loaded at WR and he's a good enough athlete to not only make the switch but excel on that side of the ball. I know it's not going to happen, but I think that the switch would really benefit the team.

Anyways, I'm glad he's back, even if that means staying at WR. Smart move on his part.

He Seems kinda thin to me to hold up at safety, but you never know until they get the chance.

Sure he caught a 99yd TD pass and a last play long pass for a TD, but that does not make him an NFL receiver. what I will say is this. There is a guy in the NFL who can be a 5th or 6th receiver, but has made a great living as a special teams player for over 10 years: Matthew Slater. perhaps Cleveland can use his special team skills to land an NFL career.

That’s exactly where I think he has a career. And I think he can make an impact on third and long.

He should be spending an hour on the jugs machine everyday between now and Fall camp with Savage banging a steel drum next to him and Slaton dancing around in a diaper (Slaton could use the cardio work).

Cleveland needs a healthy year in a good offense... believe he was hurt most of the year. Put up some solid numbers and he might have a solid draft grade. Don't know if he would have had one this draft.

I hadn't even thought of his name at all when I was thinking about the kids that could bolt. I wish somebody would talk him into changing over to safety. I bet he would be great on that side. He's the first guy down on Kick coverage and he was pretty good at tackling this year on ST.

You’re probably right. But I think that Scarlett will be fourth or fifth round mainly because he can break tackles. I don’t know whether GMs will think he has character concerns after the credit card scandal. That could technically knock him completely out of the draft

Perine isn’t just great at finding holes he is a really good receiver out of the backfield as well. He’s also a good blocker.

Perine is the better all around. I could see him being a steal for someone. Scarlett also impressed me in the back half of the season as it seemed like his vision improved tremendously and he began to run stronger breaking tackles that he didn’t the first few years.

He was hurt a lot this year. But he was the best reciever we had before Jefferson showed up
