Maybe free safety ala RFN, who worked at CB and was slated to start before w figured out, finally, that Kyle Jackson was putrid.

That being said, if we are going to keep 5 dbs on the field constantly, the strong safety and star need to be strong in run support ala the 6-2 210-220 guys LSU and Bammer always have.

He isnt on our radar, at all.

Willing runner is better than nothing.... but not really good enough. Mullinz needs a star Rb at QB for the offense to really click, especially without an elite defense to lean on.

Edit: had him confused w Gant, the Lakeland safety, the one we really want IMO.

They are both CBs. Too small for safety really.
Same for Dent.

Gant we really want. Maybe Jay too.

Exactly! It is no coincidence that Franks passing improved at the same time his running game became a threat.

Franks is the kind of kid that throws the ball better after he gets fired up with a few runs and getting hit a couple of times. He is a better QB when he is emotional.
