This team is DONE as far as reaching the NCAA's. This should have been an easy win. South Carolina had 22 turnovers. We had double digit leads in both halves and collapsed down the stretch both times. 1 field goal in our last 17 possessions of the game. Poor free throw shooting in the clutch and just got outhustled. No movement on offense the entire game except for Nembhard trying to make plays. Hayes, Stone & Hudson were pathetic. Who in the SEC can we beat? Not Tennessee (2); not Kentucky (2), not Auburn (1), not Miss. St. (1); not Alabama (1). Those are 7 more guaranteed losses. I don't think this team finishes in the top 1/2 of the SEC and may not even break .500 for the season. Lots of talented players, but totally dysfunctional as a team.

Disappointed. White needs to get it together. An NIT this year and his seat is hot next year.

We have no shot at the NCAA unless we beat Tenn, Aub, UK, and MSST

I don’t know about all four but definitely a split between UK and the vols . For whatever reason we seem to own auburn and cowbell . Remember last year we lost to these bozos at home , and mopped the floor with them in Columbia . I think we will hold our own against the big boys , and stub our toe against teams like Vandy . It’s a pattern with coach white .

Hate calling for a guys job, especially one who seems like a really good dude, but I just don’t see it working out. Same issues from year 1 to now (no consistent big man, poor movement on O, constant double digit blown leads, etc).

12-6 the rest of the way will get us an at large . It’s a bad loss but we will have our chances to more than make up for it. Win 2 of 3 the rest of the way and we are in . Otherwise not so much .

Why do the refs always screw us vs the cocks. And why does White's team blow it all the time late in the game?

We depend on threes. Threes don’t go in so easily when the players are tiring towards the end of the game.

So you really think we go 12-5 the rest of the way? Don't see it happening.

Well I was at the game and before I say anything, Yes, there was some curious calls/non calls by the officials. However I say this with 100% conviction: The officials had ZERO to do with the outcome of that game. It has all been mentioned. Multi double digit leads, a zillion turnovers by USCe, etc. etc. etc., so there is no way a few bad calls would make a difference. Even if UF wins that game by 2 or 22, I still would have come home with a sore neck, b/c I was shaking my head so hard wondering what Mike and his guys are doing in the half court offense. This team can only get a decent look at the basket in transition, off an offensive rebound or in a scramble situation. When they are forced to play in the half court, the design is this: The play is designed to create a shot, hopefully, after 1 pass and 1 pass only. After that it is try and create individually, while every player without the ball just stands and watches. It is just as sad as sad can be. Sure all looks fine when you make 3's, but just by watching the game, Mike and his staff have ZERO ability to get anyone a decent look unless it is after 1 pass. There is no half court offense, none!!!!!

Regardless of the outcome, even if it had been what looked like an easy win for UF, here were my takeaways during the game. USCe is awful and they are not going to the tourney. Not just the NCAA tourney but no post season tourney. I see no way they finish anywhere near a .500 record in SEC play. UF, in its current state, will not make the NCAA tourney, and will battle to reach the NIT. Even when they hit 3's, they are not a very good team. they play good defense, but relying on 3's in transition to win games is too haphazard. They have no way to stress or put any pressure on any defense in the half court, none!!!!!!!

But I am done giving Mike SHYT for his inability to coach half court offense. Anyone who has played or coached basketball can plainly see that. Mike is like a zillion coaches in different sports: Jason Garrett, Marvin Lewis, MusChimp, Mike Gundy, Mike Stoops, Steve Alford, Mark Fox, Tom Crean, , etc................................. They do just enough every now and then or catch a break that gives you a small glimmer that they may climb to the mountaintop, but in reality it is thru some dumb luck that happens. In the meantime they keep their jobs all the while wallowing in the mire. The final numbers are never obviously fireable, but if you watch the product on a game to game basis, you see some of the worst fundamental play and coaching you could ever imagine.

Tough to say. I see us being in a lot of close games . We’re capable of reeling off four or five in a row from a talent perspective. This is just an inconsistent bunch .

**** the refs...intentional foul called. Announcers said it's the perfect call...refs overturned!!!!!!!!!!

As long as our Athletic Director coach allows this type of officiating it will not stop.

What has to happen that will motivate White to fight for his team?

So where are all the apologists that will convince me that the team is about to turn this thing around and that I should be patient?

While I am at it, where is that guy that was telling all of us how White is a better coach than Donovan a week or so ago?

Sorry just got back from my first hockey game. Yeah White pretty much a GONER regardless of the top recruiting class. Hopefully the next coach can keep the top class intact. White just doesn't have it. Just can't lose to a shizzle 5-7 SC team. It went how it usually goes vs a Frank Martin SC team. They foul the HECK out of you and it doesn't get called and then we get called for ticky tack bs calls or marginal calls. EVERY time vs Martin. Oh well, look towards next year with a new coach whoever that is...
