I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. Some terrible calls down the stretch. Didn't know why we didn't call a timeout on the tie up that hayes got fouled. That coulda easily been a jump ball going ucce's way . Then there's no way hayes should let Silva catch that even though there was a push off that was uncalled. Another head scratcher was the in bounds play at the end. Wth?
I'm a big mike white fan and that didn't change tonight. To me it looked like we hit a few 3s early and just completely fell in love with the jumpshot. I would have liked to see us lean on the older players in these late game situations.

There's no way this team is going to win 12 more games. I think it's more likely they go 6-12 instead of 12-6. For all the talent and depth on this roster, their performance this year has been pathetic.

No inside game, no bigs that can walk and chew gum, clanging 3's from the moon, blowing big leads late in game to defy the odds and find new ways to lose. We've been saying this for years now and it isn't getting better. This is a team that could have a bar code put on it.

Back to back NCs UF deserves an HC that develops a Gator team that battles to get upset wins - not to be the team that is upset by a lesser team. Why should UF continue to pay millions $ to an HC worse than the HCs at UT, Auburn, MSU, Bama, UK, Ole Miss, Arky, Vandy, LSU, Mizzou ...?? That comprises 10 better SEC coaches ? UF deserves at least a "do-something" coach. Any top coach should get the best out of his players.
We definitely need an assistant coach who has played in March Madness and who is at least 6'9", one experienced setting position underneath. But that guy's "how to win" knowledge would probably show up HC White. We seem stuck with White and a 8th, 9th,10th place SEC team ? I know I've done all I can do. :cool:

I tried to watch the game, but White's movement without purpose offense is too painful to watch. Chump's offense was more fun.

You could very well be right . Just remember many thought we would be 1 and 7 in conference play this season once we lost our opener to Kentucky at the swamp . It’s a bad loss but it’s not the end of the season

Totally different context. DM was brand new, and working with somebody else's players. He went on to right the ship and kick some ass. White gets at most one more season of this lame-ass BS. And even that's being generous.

Very dysfunctional game. We have once again devolved into a team with no inside game. A few glimpses of inside movement and then back to launching another quick off balance jumper :( Team seemed very lethargic through stretches. I have never been a fan of White, but that is soley based on demeanor (I think he has crazy eyes)

This one hurt, but unless a big turnaround happens, we better get used to it this year.

White will not be fired. Period.

The biggest weakness as pointed out repeatedly is the lack of any type of continuity in the half court offense. As another pointed out it’s predicated on the first pass and if it doesn’t produce a good shot it breaks down and we spend a lot of time holding the ball.

This years freshmen and nexts years class are the beginnings of a real nice team. It’s going to save Coach Whites job and turn around the program.

He's not a good coach....period, not at the SEC level anyway. He has good player NOW but when you don't force kids to play D, attack the board for defensive rebounds and settle for 3's all night, every night, your plan is fragile. There is very little discipline with the way we go about our business and teams with better talent should win these games. But they are so inconsistent and sloppy that every game is a coin toss. That's coaching and thats' been this teams identity since the day White took over.

I heard coach tell them what he wanted, they apparently could not deliver. We lost because no senior took over the game and scored. I agree with no inside game, but we lost because many times players ran into press coverage they did not break. In the past trying that would get a dunk and thus eliminate it.
