What the CFP championship game and Clemson's success overall brought forth to me is:
1. You need a stud at QB
2. A solid, stout OL
3. Playmakers on both offense and defense. You need a DL that will pressure the QB.
4. You need to be multiple on defense and confuse the opposing QB

I agree if we add:
5. Ballers at CB and S to shut down the passing game and support the run defense
6. Great LB's to make goalline stands and stop red-zone TD's
7. At least one great RB to give the offense balance and keep the D guessing.
8. Buy-in from the players and a great strength and conditioning program.
9. Successful program culture.
10. Luck to avoid the possible losses you could have playing a team like Syracuse or UGA.
11. Program experience of being in a big game before.

If you add these, and maybe a few more, I'd agree.

We got to watch playoff heroes ... but only on the Clemson side. Now that is a rarity against Bama, Saban.
Just enjoy soaking it in for as long as we can.

Are we really looking to sign another o-lineman?

Anyone know how things are looking with Fuller?

Hearing that Fuller is no go right now because his mom won't come on the OV with him...UF believes that without the mom they have no shot and aren't going to let him visit without her. If the mom agrees to come then UF will move forward

So Charles Moore lists his top three in order: Auburn, Tennessee, and.... Florida State. Never visited Florida State either. Listed his reasons because he’s got “good relationships” with FSU staff, Auburn staff, and even LSU’s staff. Nevermind Mullen has been on him and recruiting him since 2015, his first offer, and first visit. He visits this weekend, and a small part of me says he’s trolling. No idea what our chances are but either 1. Trolling or 2. A slap in the face and kind of ridiculous quote when you’re visiting the coach who youve known the longest

its honestly pretty pathetic to stop your son from getting a better education AND development because of your fandom. Fsu is straight trash and one of the worst coached teams in all of football but oh well

Yep...but i like our approach of not just letting him and Jay come here if they really aren't interested and will only cause more issues.

That has Butters written all over it. I wonder what he did to piss her off so much.

On Clemson, keep in mind that they haven't been signing full classes, so hard to look at their class rank average.

The kid is hiding behind his momma. He don't wanna come to uf. It's been obvious for a while now.

Just snooping around on twitter and checked on Mark-Antony Richards likes. It’s about 35% liking his brothers posts (who posts a lot), 15% Miami stuff, and 50% gators stuff (recruits like Chris Steele and Hill, CJ Henderson, mullens tweets, etc). So basically he’s been pretty pro Florida on twitter in the part where it counts.

I guess one time some day one of these "I am going to shock the world" guys might actually set things up so people will be shocked when he announces. I guess Henderson did that at least to some extent, but when it is your what 3rd commitment you have less cred.
