Any word on Reese’s brother? I would’ve thought he’d be a high priority and instant starter at OT. With us looking at adding all these kids, will there be room? Are we processing that many guys out?

From what I understand, he could not graduate in December because certain courses he needed were not offered in the fall semester. He is supposed to graduate in the spring. Hopefully we have a slot left for him.

We are in contact with Ole Miss OT Tony Gray who is transferring. Not sure whether we officially offered though. I'm sure we could make room if the staff pulls the trigger on Gray first.

That would be a surprising take as he was in the 2017 class and can't possibly be a grad transfer, so he can't see the field until 2020. If we are really after him, what does that say about our current commits/signees?

I’d only take it as we are layering our OL to get someone who is physically more mature and hopefully acclimated to SEC speed. If I heard correctly we are short on SEC caliber OT’s, a couple of transfers could help shore that up, even if one has to sit a year.

I've been saying for quite some time that I really liked the way the team performed overall this year but the recruiting still needed improvement after ESD. For the last two weeks I've been saying Mullen looks to be really getting it done. In this thread. You can go back and look.

Some posters really can't stand the idea that most dumpers arent actually dumpers at all but instead, faithful fans who expect success and are honest about things when they arent up to the standard they should be. I was the biggest pumper in the world under spur and urbs, bc they deserved it. No one has since then, but mullen is definitely trending in the right direction.

The real question is what will pumps have left to point towards when wanting to btch about other posters if mulls turns into a great one and pumper labeled dumps are pumping? I'm convinced that some pumps must absolutely have something to point at and btch about other posters for. It feeds that "I'm a better gator than you" ego many of them have.

My post here wouldn't be expressed if this multi-liked pumper-contumely were not expressed. See, the doom preached (sermonized) by dumpers can no longer pre-doom Mullen as Gator failure, so what shows up = dumping on pumpers, whose main sin-claim was "maybe Mullen's Gator-love can do it?"

Dumpers dumped regardless of reality in order to stomp any positivity. Any expression of hope got the messenger buried under personal name-calling. Example: According to dumpers Dan Mullen was a terrible hire, a failure here. The gist of 'dummperism' was that DM should never been considered for UF HC {= Mullen should be fired-replaced right away.} .

So, So many times pumpers were bludgeoned with the idea that dumpers only, dumpers alone were seeing reality. Tell me, how can anyone latch on to reality about what has yet to occur? (They were just projecting doom.) But wait! The serial chillers reality never showed up. Reality never existed, did it, because Mullen delivered a 10-3 hot-finish season - got UF ranked #7. Hey, maybe that's the main thing that pumpers burble against - against hope-icide?

Okay, now I REALLY want him to be able to move to NT. A true bullmoose that can be a legit two gap? Yes, please.
Well...... we just dont seem interested i runstopping, two gap DLs. We only seem to put pash rushers on the field.

That's really surprising....and good news....that Blake and Luke put in CB's for him. They are pretty stingy about their picks (to help keep their percentages high).

This pick up is what we needed in the class (Safety will be fine). Our 2021 heavy DL roster is very short on bodies right now, this will go a long way.

If we can get #12 on the field immediately due to fraud by Ole Miss (lying regarding impending probation) we can basically grab anyone.

If we land Elam, MAR, and Moore our class could rise as high as 7th (on both Rivals & 247). If we get 2 of the 3 we still end up inside the top 10 (w/ 10th being the lowest). As late as mid-November it appeared the best case for this class was 12th - and that was being generous. We all know we need to get better classes, but after the way this all started I hope 90+% of us are happy w/ this finish. Sure, we can piss and moan about no 5-stars (although Steele is pretty dang close), no true Safety, and "only" 2 heavy-DL's. But we could probably nitpick most classes at other schools as well.

If we get the three mentioned above, our 247 ranking will be: 277.43, 7th ranked (277 would be our highest point total since 2012). Pretty impressive. And our 2020 class is on pace to easily finish top-5.

That number is likely to go up as a number of those guys just made huge jumps in the rivals rankings. Possible 280 with those three guys

With those three and with Bogle coming to OV on the 25th, we have a good possibility of finishing pretty high in the class rankings not that I believe in class rankings as determinative. But it just points that we're on our way up, we got the buzz.
