First 10 that to come to mind, in no particular order:

Get Smart
Johnny Quest
Gilligan's Island
Batman
Ultraman
Speed Racer
I Dream of Jeanie
Daktari
Mission Impossible
Mannix

Bonus:

Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom
Hogan's Heroes
I liked I Dream of Jeannie when i was a kid, but when watching re-runs as a teenager, I came to the conclusion Tony Nelson was gay. The way she looked in that costume, and clearly had the hots for him, and his response was to constantly keep her at arm's length? Well, you figure it out.

Wild Wild West (curse the movie!) curse it over and over, LOVED that show
Andy Griffith Top 3 of all time the messages are timeless
Gomer Piyle read his bio recently, great man so talented. surprise surprise surprise
The (original) Muppet Show that guy was brilliant

Best show of all time! Top 3 for damned sure. I got All in the Family near it. WKRP and Barney Miller were damn good. Wild Wild West was fun. Star Trek ranks up there. I Love Lucy top ten.
Mary Tyler Moore had a great ensemble. Saw some the other day. Like Barney Miller.
Ever see the Red SKelton show? He was my favorite in elem school.

Froggy the Gremlin used to scare the hell out of me when I was a kid. Still does.

Thread title is "from long ago"

How long are we talking? I was thinking about one of my old favorite shows - "Hill Street Blues" - but thought, naw too recent. Then I realized that was almost 35 years ago...ugh. :(

Throwing some more names out from the 70s:
Adam 12
Emergency
Columbo
Rockford Files
Baretta (Don't do the crime if you can't do the time...no no don't do it!)
The Odd Couple

Well long ago could be over 1-10 years, or whatever.

I always wonder why some police shows are not re-booted. Dragnet was at least once. Adam 12 and Emergency were great.

I see those Chicago shows as somewhat the same but I don't watch them so they might be more personal type stuff than actual work.

I always wonder why NBC chose Chicago for those shows, it is known for being poorly run and crime ridden.

There are some great ones here, for sure, but I absolutely loved:
- Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom
- Most anything by Robert Conrad like:
a) Wild Wild West
b) Baa Baa Black Sheep Squadron
- Little House on the Prairie
- The best from Andy Griffith like:
a) The Andy Griffith Show
b) Matlock
- Anything John Wayne put out as a Western.

I forgot the black sheep, that reminded me of McHale's navy, not the Italian versions.
