I can confirm that the ladies shoe thing is true. I saw him walking around Jacksonville in a ladies boot recently.

Obviously sounds like a bitter Msu fan and likely an embellished story overall. But I can confirm this. I know someone in Gville that has had a lot of interaction with SS this past year, and he is a talker. He was critical, or at least not optimistic about his DL coming into the season(which surprised me). He had no qualms about saying both Gardner AND Polite had no business coming out. And he's also talked about the facilities being light years behind other big programs, namely Alabama.
The interesting part is he's not talking to an avid fan of UF or even a football person in general. So it's completely unsolicited and almost appear like he's just venting to someone. Everyone seems to love him, but he rarely has anything overly positive to say. So it wouldn't shock me if there was some truth to him saying something less than flattering in a public setting, because it seems to be a pattern. I said in the recruiting thread a while back that I think the whole "game" has passed him by. He's like an old guy that super nice, but maybe not cutout for the demands of a modern day coach and has frustrations as a result.
No idea on the ladies shoes. But most of these coaches look like a complete disaster in the recruiting visit pics I've seen, so nothing would shock me. If a nice pair of pumps gives him the boost of confidence he needs to land kids, then fine by me.
