How about over a ten year period, you have a home-and-home for just 2 of those years? The other 8 stay in Jacksonville.

I just think it's cool to be able to have UGA in the Swamp.
I could be down for that.

Sure. Uniform changes are great when actually designed well. Having an alternate just to have one isn’t something I’m a fan of. I’ve never liked the white helmet because it’s a lazy alternate when there’s so many 10000x better options out there, especially throwbacks. Don’t do things just to do them.
I liked the white helmet. Small but noncontroversial change. The alligator skin uniform tho...

I like tradition, but some of you guys are lunatics about it, wringing your hands at every little thing. At the end of the day, it's just football. Entertainment.

It doesn’t need to be worn 2-3 times a year. We have 4-5 alternates from the 60s/70s we could use. It’s not a creative look imho. I mean at least give it a grey face mask or something

I’m on the record as disliking the retro uniforms. We went away from them for a reason...

I'd be in favor of that if we played another major team like a OSU, or Oklahoma type team the same year. The elite teams schedule strong out of conference games and I'm all for doing the same. Heck UGA plays Virginia in 20, Oregon in 21, and Clemson in 24, UCLA in 25. I see no reason why we cant do the same

I’m ok with changing lots of things. Just not that location.
Yawn.

We did a home and home in the 90's when Jacksonville wasn't available and it was awesome. Dropping 50 between the hedges was an incredible thing.

That's not a bad idea. Those home and home games in the mid-'90s were intense. The Swamp would be rockin'.

Anyone wanting this great tradition to end is a f*cking retard, dumbf*ck.

This is one of the top 10 traditions in all of college football and some f*ckheads want to move it to home and home so we can play Miami or NC State home and home every once in a while. So stupid. Honestly, this is a tradition - as a Gator fan - you should be proud of.

So why the heck did you facepalm my post if we agree?! Is your hernia affecting your reading skills?

I've been to over 20 of the UF/UGA games and they are unique and special. I went to the game in Gainesville when the Gator Bowl was being renovated to accommodate the Jaguars, but didn't go to Athens for the beatdown up there. I would be against going home & home with them. The 50/50 crowd split and tradition of the Jacksonville game just means to much to us old timers.

Born and raised in Jax, really hope they don’t mess with this game. There is a reason it’s called the worlds largest cocktail party.

A home-and-home once a decade probably wouldn't jeopardize the drinks.
