I admire your independence, Insti, but I have to ask: why does Bama get a hyphen and not the Dawgs?

Because someone here, apparently a U-A-L fan, programmed the key strokes for U-A-L without the hyphens to change into their preferred name for U-A-L. I do not prefer to use that name for schools like I view them with affection when I don't, e.g. U-A-L or UMs. Some how the fans of those schools have somehow commanded everyone to use their preferred pet name for their school. No thank you on my part.

One might think a more important issue would be the profanity a few posts below my post, but I guess not.

Is that what you’re hearing from recruiting circles? Or just an opinion?
He eliminated FSU after the UF visit. Besides, there are 11 kids showing up, no way they can give undivided attention trying to sway so many kids.

I’ve never heard the friend thing. Kaair has two former football players mentoring him about the process. They won’t let something like Warren sway him. If he picks Georgia he bought their bullshyt the way everybody else is.

I guess if this is correct, it would be they, Elam and his mentors, bought the UGa hype not he or just Elam?

It’s pretty much fact. They are the worst coached team in football, and this kid is thinking beyond football as well. FSU isn’t known for academics or “nole nation” for graduates and networking. He stated that was very important to him. FSU has a zero percent chance here

Technically he moved UF into his top group with AU and UTn, while moving FSU out of his top group. I am not sure he used the word eliminate or any think similiar.

Wtf is a stink meaner?

Have you looked it up yet?
Cl. Stink meaner is a character in an adult animated series called boondocks. I had to look it up myself. Isn’t that what Steiner uses for his twitter account?
I can’t provide the link at the moment, but I trust you can find it if you really want to know more.

I think its between us and Auburn right now but I wouldn't take what he says too serious as he is now visiting FSU instead of Tennessee.

The others have already given legit reasons. But, it is my opinion. One never knows with these things. Id be stunned if he ended up with them though. There is too much going against the clowns.

You could very well be right, but my thought on Moore are he had already been to AU when he decided UF was his leader. So I am more worried about schools he visits after UF or him sticking with his home state school.

As for Elam, it is interesting that he probably went to a UF basketball game while he was on that visit. I know this should be a business decision, but I wonder if he found himself leaning the way of UF's basketball team while at that game? Also I wonder what the pitch of the guy who a week ago was telling him that UF was the place for him becomes when he changes sides in the middle of recruiting. If Elam was all about the assistant coach, then maybe that hurts. But as a business decision that just reminds a player that assitant coaches are likely to change during their time at a school.

On Richards, it seems there is very little solid information. His brother is DQed at Miami which might help them.

On Bogle, football is a tough game and not as fun to practice as some other sports. So winning is really important in football. So a reason to go to U-A-L and really the only reason to go to U-A-L as a gray shirt would be if they really win every year. Well getting blown out in the championship game is not winning every year. So I think that had to start him wondering. But then again another FL kid did gray shirt to go there.

But those are just my thoughts and I have no inside information. So any additions or corrections or counter opinions would be appreciated.

That's fair, athough I've never heard in my entire life that the term "Bama" was considered a pet name. :rolleyes3: Just figured it was short for Alabama.

They will say Alabama now, just so you can be happy. The only acronym for Alabama that will be allowed on Gatorchatter is the official one: UA.

So no Trailerbama or other pet names? Oddly when I typed that it did not change to Alabama or UA?

I said acronym. In other words, you are going to stop abusing acronyms so they don't blow up every damn thread you post in.

Well I guess a solution to birdbox challenge car-pedestrian accidents is to ban cars. There might be other more reasonable solutions like in my example not blindfolding yourself and walking into traffic and here not allowing a gang to blow up every thread because others won't conform to them.
