Beck is ranked 38th in state and is the top QB. Definitely see him shooting up. Not sure if he gets into the top 5, but certainly the top 10. I expect him to be in the Elite 11 this year. Richardson is the 2nd ranked QB in the state, at #53. I'm sure he shoots up too. I'm just concerned that Beck won't efficiently be able to run the offense - I know, I know, Mullen will make it work. But it is concerning that he's not a "DT" qb.

If we get Tim Smith at DT we'll be in great shape w/ the heavy DT's, which is the biggest need in this class.

Yeah one site I looked at called him an athlete and another an APB. I needed to put him some place so maybe I should have listed him at RB. You could be right that if UF gets Bowman, UF would be happy with him and Lee and not be interested in EJ Smith. You never know for sure where to list a guy listed as an athlete. I am guessing Fraziar as a TE maybe a WR, but again I am just making a stab at this.

I didn't see anything mentioned about Bowman. From his recent visit, he said UF was "home." He also "talked up his high school's tradition with the Gators." Bowman said, "They really want me and tell me I can change their whole recruiting class around and make it number one in the nation."

And Carson Beck said he'd be done with his recruitment by the summer.

Finally, I found this interesting. Safety wasn't a high priority in 2019 as they like what they have. It is a priority going forwards since they'll be losing some guys.

Big DT Tim Smith just crystal balled to UF by Clemson mod...Clemson is our biggest competition for him but apparently they are already full at DT. Would be huge get for us

Beck is such a good passer, he does not need to run much. If he can run 5 times a game, I'd be totally happy.

I agree. Less than 10 called runs per game is ideal for the qb in this system - with a few scrambles or runs when coverage is tight and there's an opening. Beck is already 215-220lbs and likely gets to 230+. I really hope he moves into the top 100 overall recruits.....and flipping him from Bama is a bonus!

He needs to go to camps not necessarily because he needs to but to boost his stock. He also needs to advance far into the Elite 11.

Sounds deadly. On another note, anybody else see the guy on the list named Willie Taggart, from Tallahassee? Whether he's related or not, I feel for him, having to carry that name around in that town right now.

It’s different to see us at the top of this list. We haven’t been for almost a decade. It’s mainly been Ohio State, Alabama, and Florida State.

I also thought it was interesting that Frank Gore Jr. and Shelton Quarles Jr. are on this list.

By way of comparison, in the 2019 class they had 4 of the top 10, including the top 3. Wonder how much that will change over next 12 months.

Yes, glad to see the IMG guys not dominating the list. I really wish the recruiting sites would put these kids in the state they are from.

Thanks. In response:

1. 247sports says that Fraziars ran a verified 4.82 40.

Jaquavion Fraziars, Dunnellon, Athlete

He is also reportedly pretty tall so he might be able to put on weight. Of course I guess Doering was pretty good with that kind of speed.

2. By my count UF has 4 TEs and no rising SRs so 2020 is a class UF could skip a TE.

3. I agree with all including that UF might take an additional DL in the 2020 class.

4. I agree again about EJ Smith. Also RB is a position where your depth can evaporate quickly.
