Not really a sports topic, but wanted to share the great news my son was accepted to UF today. (As was our neighbor across the street.). As you might imagine, Momma was stoked. He of course is too “cool” to show any excitement. No idea if he’ll “commit” & being out of state will be a challenge, but wanted to share nonetheless. Anyone else hear good news today?

As the father of a kid who was accepted (out of state), I know the pride you feel and the “cool” he presents - but he’s excited regardless. My daughter graduates in 3 months, and it has been a great experience (for us both!). Congrats!

My grandson who is a freshman @ FAU made the President's List - All A's the first semester. I am absolutely sure my son (who treated college as his number 1 social outlet) came home with the wrong baby from the hospital.....LOL. He visited UF but wasn't accepted (certainly wasn't due to academic issues). He also visited Miami, but the costs was prohibitive.

I think you might be overestimating the value of worthless items just a wee bit.

My son was accepted today as well GBM. I’m on cloud nine with pride. Fortunately we are in state with Bright Future scholarships. Good luck to your son!

I’ve got 5 kids and the oldest is 6...I’m looking forward to this one day but I definitely don’t want to rush it...congrats y’all

He’s got the height (6’3”), but would need another 120 or so pounds. Oh and a better skill set! The neighbor is a she and way too small..... And for the sickos, no I won’t post any pictures.
